TSN panel (Duthie, Aaron Ward, Crawford and McKenzie) showing a lot of love for a Pens comeback. McKenzie liking the Canucks chances a bit more. Crawford not liking our goaltending at all. |

I've heard he's a pretty good dude. - rockychocbill
I talked to him for about 10 minutes at the bar in the airport and I'm pretty sure I just about pissed my pants. Seriously, that is a funny dude.
His takes on Saskatchewan are second to none.
Tangent- I realize alot of my stories involve beer, bars or drinking. Just shut it. |

with grossman out and bryz now having a hip issue...their chances just got a whole lot better. still not going to happen. canucks are not coming back.
crawford hasn't much reason to like it, but bryz did a good enough job in games 1-3 to get them wins. |

i'm just wondering why virtually every other goalie in the playoffs (except fleury), ahl lifer, backup, or starter is playing better than ours. if bryz's injury(ies) is legitimately hampering him this much, he shouldn't be playing. - hammarby31
Maybe you should put Bob in, he looked 'aight'. |

i only saw a few minutes of bob, and he got spanked for 2 goals very quickly. gave up on 5 on 18, identical to bryz. that said, the kid wins in your barn, so why the hell not, especially if he's healthy. |

With Daniel back and Schneider in net I like their chances a lot. Three days off here helps VAN more than LA I think. VAN has been good at home this season, this series aside. I think LA is still a bit weak mentally as a team. Plus they have Carter. |

s'ok. we did a lot better when we were underdogs and everyone picked us to lose. |

I think all the goalies in this series are being thrown under the bus, the defense and discipline has been horrendous. With that said when Bob was in everything was high and most of it went in. |

I hope among hope that the Flyers can finish this series but that loss Wednesday was disturbing. |

They just showed a stat.
SJS are 1/21 for their last home PP's. Wow.
EDIT: 1/22
Game over. Series over. Blues are for real. They're gonna be a tough out next round. |

If Pittsburgh finds a way to win this thing I won't post in here, but you better believe I'll be reading each and every comment, twice.
I keep seeing Flyers fans in our blog post that the pressue is on Pittsburgh now. Does any sane Flyer fan believe that? It's my belief that when you hold a 3-0 lead the pressure is on you until you win the 4th. Honestly, I don't see how anyone could see things differently. - canadianpenfan
much less pressure to win a 2nd, 3rd AND 4th, imo.

If need be, I think I would go switch Schenn and Read again. Before injuries Read-Briere-Simmonds and JvR-Schenn-Voracek were good lines for us. They can always switch them back.
I know JvR will be in the line up tomorrow and I'm excited to see him. We just got stronger offensively (100% or not) and we just became more discipline with Rinaldo out.
I really hope Grossmann can play but that could be asking for a lot. |

I agree, I think The way I see it the longer this drags on the more pressure it puts on the Flyers to close.
St.Louis is just too tough, don't see anyone in the west except maybe Nashville with an out of his mind Rinne stopping them.
Night everyone. |

All of that is good and true. How about the back end though? |

No idea. With Burdon going down with injury and Grossmann hurt now, then factoring in Timonen didn't even play all of Game 3, I don't even know what the pairings look like anymore. |

it's also fair to say that every other team's defense is playing better than ours.
if our defense, with the way they're playing, were in front of some of these other guys, they'd sure as hell have be struggling a lot more than they are now.
