Because that happened in once it means he has a desire to play him? It was a weird situation last year, that's all. If he had any better options Leigton would not have played..

True Ill agree that what I said is pure speculation but it's my interpretation of the situation. I just didn't see the need to start him when the other two got you where you were.

Might be consideration for him as the backup to Bryz. The Pens seem to have Bob figured out. Just go high.

If Bryz continues to struggle I would not be shocked at all to see Leighton between the pipes.

Good lord! Bob plays next game is Bryz is a no go. If Bob get lite up again then you consider Leighton. I want to go on the record here saying if Leighton hits the ice...I have 0 confidence this team wins this series. 0. I will happily eat crow if I am wrong. Bob has owned PIT in the past and can win a game against them. He deserves another chance, last night was a freak show and that is all.

So does this mean JVR in on Friday since he said he was ready Yesterday?
I would do something to balance the lines out defensively a bit. Since Hartnell isnt scoring right now, and he picked up his game big time defensively I would put him with Briere and Voracek.

I just don't see what it has to do with this year. Leighton won't sniff the net unless there a major injury issues. Laviolette definitely is not eager to start him. Hopefully bryz is ok...

Wow saw that malkin video for the first time... surprised its not getting legs calling for a suspension

interested to read why it was the worst way to lose...

i would generally say it was the better of the two because at best the team knew the outcome instead of coming down to the last minute and losing.

maybe not the worst way because I think they'll learn a valuable lesson. I think if they would've lose in the last second, there's still a little doubt in Pittsburgh, but now Pittsburgh has a boat load of confidence.

It's Malkin...and the Pens. Perfectly legal.

Must say I think it is better to lose 10-3 then losing a 4-3 game in OT....huge wake up call for these guys ...they will be ready to go and won't let that happen again.
