I think it's less on the goalie and more about reducing the penalties, maintaining a good forecheck and play sound team defense. They need to stop running around and getting excited because there's been a million goals scored.

Bryz cant give up an soft goals tomorrow night. He needs to be better because im expecting the Pens to play at another level on home ice.

They got some life after yesterday.

as long as Bryz controls his rebounds, he will be in better shape then he was the first 4 games. that's something that needs to be improved.

This. And I wish the league (and Pens fans) would stop acting like Malkin doesn't have a history of dirty plays.

I think the entire team needs to do that, not just the goalie. Goalie won't have a chance if theres a million PPs and no defense again.

Im thinking his injury is more than a bone chip. He definitely has looked different since the injury. I would think a shot of novacaine would clear that up before the game, whatever. he's our goalie and if he can't play put Bobrovsky in there. If the Flyers can't win with either one just forget it. Either way attention to defense has to be a priority. I don't care who they are if Lavy sees a player half ass it on a play Like I did last night on a particular goal, he needs to send that player to the dressing room.

Thats what worries me. The team hasnt played well defensively and I dont see that changing. Maybe they do a better job then last game but Bryz will have to come up big imo.

He was called up in case of an emergency, why wouldn't he practice? If god forbid he is to play I don't see how him not practicing is conducive to at least being competitive.

The team that doesn't try to will lose. Cant go deep playing so loose with the defense.

for the most part, all the games have been run and gun versus a Rangers game where it's tight checking most of the time. It's the style of play each team adopts. the Flyers need to tighten up and still be agressive with their forecheck.
