Dear Kevin Klein,
I think Pred Nation owes you an apology. I know I do. At times throughout the season I wished you would have been benched, scratched or even traded. I'm not sure we would have a 3-1 series lead if it were not for you....and Pekka. Respect.

I hate to see Hossa leave on a stretcher. Hope he recovers.

- benderboots

Me too. Sorry Kevin for the horrible things I said about you and throwing stuff at the TV.

I thought it was Berts skate. Either way, yes, it tipped off something because it came back out at a different angle from whence it came.
- iamageek

Correct - it ping-ponged off of Bertuzzi's skate right to Bourque. (Bourque! Bourque!)

Does anyone think with the way Klein has emerged that Nash might be inclined to let either Suter or Weber go? Extend Klein, Radulov and one of Web/Sut and you guys are set.

I say throw Suter's $ (if we cannot sign him also) at Rads and Weber. IMO, Weber type players only come along once in a great while. Got to lock him up...no matter what.

I hope we can keep everyone. We have a boatload of cap space.

Still have lot's of work left to do...let's do it Friday night boys! One thing I haven't heard mentioned (and maybe it's just me), but AK46 has been invisible out there...he looks disinterested...no desperation. Am I missing something?

I actually feel completely opposite of you. I think AK46 has looked pretty good. He has been hard along the boards, been hard on the puck, and has been forechecking like a bull. He also has 1 goal and has been really good playing along side Rads. However, in the 3rd Trotz moved SK down and Rads up and I would like to see AK and SK on the same line to start the game and see if we can get a little chemistry.

I said before games 3 and 4 that I had an odd mixture of worry/confidence going in to Detroit. I have the same feeling about Friday. This, if not any, Detroit team can never be counted out. We cannot afford to look at this series as "over."

On a side note, was everyone ok with the Kronwall hit on SK74? To me, the puck was gone, and Kronwall appeared to leave his feet, aim high, and point of contact was to the head. I think its not getting the attention it deserves because of the Torres hit, and because SK74 didn't appear hurt. What does everyone else think?

It's hard to tell where the puck is, but my initial reaction was that he was a touch late. However, I froze the frame right at contact (took a few tries to get it just right), but the initial point of contact is the upper chest and it looked like he came off the ice after contact (which is typical of Kronwall hits - seems like he sends his momentum upward when he hits like this). I think you have an argument about it being a little late though.

AK46 is doing what BT is asking him to do. Detroit was 7th in scoring during the regular season, the preds are keeping them off the board. Both players should have gone to box on the interference call last night. One fell down and the one who didn't went to the box!

It was clean. His momentum carried him up and over little SK. That being said, I hate seeing that the Wings are being more physical than us.

Side note: Will the Preds or Bridgestone have a screen outside the arena in the plaza for game 5? Probably can't afford a ticket and I'd still like to be in the atmosphere of insane fans.

Its official....I can no longer yell at Klein from my seat. I think shaving 1/2 his head has helped his game. Put it in his contract Poile!

I wouldn't say Leggy is "back"...closer

I know we have pined about this before....but Trotzy, if you are going to play Tootoo/Hali 5 minutes - why not give Wilson a chance in those 5 minutes too?

- buelleo

I have been concerned about Hornqvist's health since the Blackhawk game. I would sit Horny for a game or two to get healthy. The preds need him on the PP at 100% not 80%. Patric is playing 3rd line, let Wilson get his feet wet. Colin is stronger on the puck than Horny. Let Yip get peppered on the PP till next round.

I saw several ticket holders giving away tickets last Friday. Just need to get butt down to the plaza. Watch the game at Rippy's if no luck on a ticket..

With a chance to close out the series I would guess that you prolly won't find many people giving away tickets on Friday. But I think it would be pretty cool if they did have screen set up outside to show the game for those fans who can't get in, or like you said find a bar right around there. Either way it should be an ubelieveable atmosphere on Friday. Also, you can always try the raffle on Friday morning for $10 tickets. The more real fans down there the less chance scalpers will have!!!

Rippy's is a good idea too. I just want to be in the area if we clinch. Should be a helluva party

Yeah, I'd love to try the raffle but I'll be at work at 5am. Probably no "ticket breaks' for me on a Friday

Impossible to tell with this camera angle. I was wondering when we would see Kronwall step up on the blue line. I'm a little surprised that he's waited until game 4. Historically he has taken at least one of our guys out of the playoffs in the first couple games.

It looked clean, Kronwall's arms went up after the hit making it look like more of a blow up.

My problem is how is the Torres hit on Hossa different than the Burrows hit on Dumount??? Discount the playoffs and the player history.

There was a screen on the plaza during Games 1 and 2 so I would guess, yes.

I'm going to take flak from this from Red Wing fans, but I have always thought Kronwall's hits were borderline legal AT BEST. It seems he does have that tendency to leave his skates a lot. This one from last night seems to be more of the same but perhaps cleaner than some I've seen.

NO ONE should be looking past game 5. This series could easily be 3-1 Detroit right now. Our forwards are simply going to have to play better Friday as I think Detroit is going to leave everything out there on the ice to get the series back to their place.

Here's to a good game - GO PREDS!
