The sad part is that a lot of the poor rulings could be averted if simple common sense was applied to the situation, it's not exactly rocket science to know that slamming a guy's head in the glass deserves a suspension. Overally I think Shanny does a good job, but here in the playoffs I can't belive what he is dishing out. Weber shouldn't be allowed to play the rest of the playoffs for is WWE head bash move. Its nothing close to a hockey play or a hockey fight. If I were Shanny I would have come out with a very good explination for this or say I screwed up. The path its on now is leading to him losing creditbility in my eyes.


I think Goalies being out of their crease makes them a skater. Sure you can't go blow up a goalie on purpose but if he has the puck you should be able to play him like any other skater. If the goalie can't make it out to the puck clean then maybe he shouldn't play it.

Definitely tired of the Weber incident. Everyone is acting like he's Alex Burrows or something. But his own Red Wings? Weber would sign in Detroit before Vancouver (assuming he signs anywhere else)? Really?

I love to see a goalie get smacked when they are out, but I don't think they should be fair game in that trapezoid. This isn't like years ago where goalies would be in the corner every dump or come out to the top of the circle to play the puck. They have limited space and I think they shouldn't be a target when in it, out of it is fair game for me.
