I can't believe it's come down to Leafs, Sabres, and Habs fans all comiserating together during the playoffs. The Northeast was so promising and turned into a trainwreck. Well, mostly the Leafs and Habs were a trainwreck. Actually compared to preseason anticipation the Sabres were a trainwreck too. Let's play!

Classic..... he didn't leave his feet, the momentum of the hit lifted him off his feet. I mean come on, that is physically impossible. The only way to have upward momentum is to be traveling up in the first place. And none of that takes into account the lateness. Morons.

As much as I was excited to watch these playoffs, all this bullpoop is completely turning me off. It looks like a circus side-show.

From regular speed, it looked like a perfectly clean hit.

The games to fast, and I don't blame the refs for missing it. And when I say it, I mean him leaving his feet.

from replays, it's definitely dirty.

Best part of it?

4 guys missed it?? Hard to believe.... and I saw it regular speed and had no problem seeing him leave his feet, so that is BS. They may have missed it because they had a bad angle or obstructed, but it was pretty clear even at full speed that he left his feet.

This hit in terms of live and replay, is the exact opposite of the Dion Phaneuf hit on Da Costa.


Live, full speed, many people thought it was a dirty hit and he targeted the head, and it was viscous.

But when those people watched it on the replay, they seen it was a completely clean hit.

Watching live speed, it just looked like a normal hockey hit in the playoffs.
