yea...I suppose lol but that would have been boring. I do agree it was a dirty hit, seems he made contact to the head, slightly left his feet. Its just he went in for the big hit, Hossa wasnt paying attention, had his head down a little and ended up worse because of it, is all.

The NHL I thought when they got rid of Campbell was moving in the right direction but Shanahan is proving to be just as incompetent or even more so than his predecessor, it's spin the wheel on a suspension, if you're a star player, -2 games or more from a suspension they should get. It's a farce.

Actually it isn't, leaving your feet AFTER contact is technically allowed, although now with the head shot rule and the fact that he seem to launch himself at the head he should definitely be suspended. (not to mention the lateness.)

no if you knew anything about hockey you wouldn't care about a team that puts a sub par product on the ice every year and drones of mindless fans shell out insane amounts of cash to see a team that doesn't care about its fan base. Your ownership takes out full page adds in the Toronto star and the Toronto sun to apologize for how much the leafs suck and all the fans eat it up.. and still all the fans flok to to maple laffs to watch sub par hockey by a sub par team ... but year after year all of the leaf fans support and follow them and make sure they pay so much cash that your ownership will never care about winning and why should they its not like they are going to lose money or fans... did you no that your team has a 10,000 person waiting list to get season tickets and it costs a $1000 a year to stay on that list... that means that Toronto fans are paying $10,000,000 not even for tickets why would your ownership ever care if you win but as a un-informed hockey fan you keep following them blind leading the blind

the hit may have been "late" but thats only cause Hossa blew it and lost the puck. torres had him lined up regardless...*charging tho lol

yea...I wont lie...I find the trolls funny at times too

although, the ones that are smart enough to not get banned or be complete idiots and just look for a quick exit. The ones that put in some work

The Torres hit was bad and I think he should be suspended but I can see how you can get carried away with a hit during play.
