He had a down year (14-14-28pts) while missing 24 games to injury & was in the coaches doghouse to the point where he was put on the 4th line at times and also moved to the wing
I know there's one Sabres fan who REALLY wants O'reilly...
But with him due a raise, and Stastny's contract making it difficult to move him and get a good return...
Maybe Duchesne COULD be available
I'd jump on that quickly...

I don't know what houston was thinking. THey lost Williams and Ryans this year. Hoepfully we can pick up Kuechly, but anywhere on D, except corner is fine by me.

IMO, we will see Samuel traded at the draft / before camp.

According to the Av's blogger, they would want a D man in return. Duchene is 21 and the 3rd overall pick and has put up 55 points in his rookie year, 67 and then 28 this year in 55 games. I don't think Leopold or Sekera would get us Duchene.

I meant if Duchene was here we could explore that but definitely not with the team we have now. Duchene is known to play the wing too.

is he though? Where has he led them? I'm not trying to argue, I just haven't seen that yet out of him....not like I watch a ton of Avs games either though.

e. staal, j. staal, pavelski, or getzlaf. if i can't trade for any of those guys try to trade up for galchenyuk. if i can't do that well same story different year for next season....
