Got me there - we only outscored the Oil by 37 goals this year and made the playoffs with Silferberg and 3 1st rounders not in the line up, whereas the Oil was able to get all their 1st rounders to play regularly, until they got concussed or broken down for surgeries.

Of course, #1 this year will help, but what do you expect after being in the worst 3 in the league for what, 5 straight seasons? Looking enviously at Leaf season results must be a real source of pride....

None of which have proven a thing in the NHL including a bust in Turris
- HankdaTank

who said it was a proven line. it's a line of players all under the age of 22, it's exciting for the future.

oh, speaking of busts, how's dubinsky doing?

I didn't know late second rounders were able to be considered busts, he wasn't 3rd overall he was 60th and he turned out better than your 1st round pick that year, nice try though.

well, when ranger fans take about him like the second coming of messier for about 2 years, and he ends up being a medicre 3rd line player, it's safe to say he's a bust.

but hey, when his hockey career tanks, at least he has a future in the gatorade toss.

awwwwwww, someone seems a little bitter that someone else's team is in the playoffs, while the biggest hi-light in his hockey life for the last half decade has been the draft lottery.

But watch out next season - unlike this year PRV and Linus might combine to outscore Ladislav Smid.......and 2nd line star center Horcoff just might get his +/- above -20 if everything goes right.......and they might not lose 4 out of 6 to Calgary.

and attract a boatload of quality free agents who`d love to be there, like Ryan Smyth......and Ryan Smyth.....and errrrr.......wait, there must be a booze-oholic goalie looking to dry out up north, without dealing with the pressures of being expected to win....

THIS. IS. HOW. THE. SENS. WORK.

THEY DEVELOP THEIR TALENT!

only two Sens draft picks have not done a year of development

1. Alexander Daigle. actually he was sent back to Junior, played 18 games and put up 34 points... was recalled

2. Radek Bonk - split season between IHL and NHL

since Daigle and Bonk, NOT ONE draft pick has split a season between their "development year" years for some, and the NHL.

The Sens put their prospects in the minors, and they keep them their until they are really ready... just like the Red Wings.

Silfverberg won't be called up

ALSO

The RANGERS haven't played that good. Ottawa has dominated

BUT

Lundvisqt has stolen two games ! But you need a goalie to steal some games to win the Cup. Gaborik better get going !

lundqvist stole 1 game. IMO, the rangers were the better team in game 1, with or without hank. he DEFINATELY is the reason they won last night though.
