Makes sense, especially considering that they'll pick first overall three years in a row, it isn't surprising that their plan is an 18 year long plan.

What's the Sens plan in regards to Brian Boyle making them his female dog.

Stay the course, we controlled the play most of game three. Getting the puck past Lundqvist is more or a priority than worrying about Boyle.

Turris actually has been fantastic at all elements of the game besides scoring, which will come with development of his timing, and he will likely be a top-tier second line centerman in this league once he adds strength to his good-sized frame and learns the system better with a full Sens camp. (Not to mention gets some help on the wing to play with).

The same cannot be said for anyone on the Oilers. so I'm not sure in what way your tone of condescention is justified.

For being the fan of the least successful team of the last 3 years, I'm not sure why any Oil fans troll other teams....maybe you've just stopped giving a (frank), that it?

I love what the Oil have done and there is no doubt they are on the edge of becoming an elite team. You have a few fans who desperately crave attention for themselves and their team. So, they attempt to interject an oiler theme into unrelated discussions. If you feel sorry for the guy you can respond. If, on the other hand, you are indifferent to his stuff, just ignore him.

I have to laugh at fans of teams who aren't in the playoffs chirping teams that are.

Especially the Sens- I really don't understand how anybody can give this team a hard time. All they do is work hard, and have competed night in, night out with one of the best teams in the league. In fact, I'd argue that they've been the better team in the last two games.

If it wasn't for Lundqvist, the Sens would be owning the Rangers right now.

However, since it is- it's a very tight series. Exciting too!

With Brynnas' loss today, I think we can put to sleep any chance of seeing Silvferberg

Nobody really has an interest in the Oilers. Did you miss the fact that the Stanley Cup playoffs have started. I love the Oilers. I think they are building a great young team. But it is hard to get people to talk about a team that is currently playing golf.

Note to self - Oilers must make playoffs before I can have an opinion on a playoff team.

WOOWWW!

what a quicnky-dink.... I was showing Silfver to some friends just now. I don't know if he should come but to say I'm dying to see him in a Sens jersey is an understatement.

21 with the Sens:
Jason Spezza: 7G 21 pts in 33 games +8
Kyle Turris: 12G 29 pts in 49 games +12

Turris also wasn't in "game shape" due to his contract negotiations. *Spezza also came to a president trophy team in his 02-03 season while Turris has an aging alredsson and a revolving door of rookies to play with. Early to say if Rundbland + 2nd was an accurate price to pay- but I will take Turris's output this year while great satisfaction.

Silfverberg-Turris-Alfredsson I hope is our 2nd line next season.

Pierre McGuire is the logical replacement.

Crazy to fire Burke now! He has put together a good front office, scouting and development team. Need to take their time and do a proper job of scouting, drafting and developing home grown talent.

Funny, that's what the Rangers have done all season but no one wants to give them credit only take credit for their own team finishing 8th, BTW don't take anything away from Anderson, you don't realize that if it weren't for him this wouldn't be a series.
