Oops, and I forgot to mention that the vast majority of PPs for the Flyers weren't 'important calls' so they can be dismissed too.
- nhindian

90% of those PP's the Flyers were up by more than 3 goals or down by 3. So the game was already in hand. Damn league.

more bad calls. no leeway with suspensions at all. (i know every team has to deal with a bad call every now and a again) the neal getting 1 game feeds into it. i point out bullcrap calls against the flyers during many games, it's IMO very consistent
- flyerscup2011

The Flyers get screwed pretty much every game by the officials. It's blatantly obvious. This conspiracy goes deep inside the NHL. The officiating for the rest of the League is very consistent.

The Flyers have had the most PP opportunities this year at 335, 18 more than the next highest.

The Pens were at 8th with 289.

Half the story. How many times were the Flyers penalized?

And did you know about Neal's history prior to him becoming a penguin and/or getting into more trouble? I mean, we can't know everything about every player, can we?

i've never seen anything like what's going on the first round of the playoffs. every series but the devils-panthers is just crazy nasty. how much longer can it continue? the league can be very reactionary at times. the avery-brodeur incident from just a couple of years ago comes to mind. i would not be surprised if the league rethinks its disciplinary measures somewhat as a result of the violence we're seeing. i also wouldn't be surprised if they do absolutely nothing.
- hammarby31

I have seen nastier things, but not this much in this short span of time, no. Like I said earlier one of these days, one of these players isn't going to get up off the ice, then what? There needs to be serious reprecussions, because like you said, its about protecting their assets and their players are their biggest assets. I just can't stomach the blatant disrespect amongst the players, it is sickening. If they won't grow a set and start dishing out the discipline, then do away with the instigator rule and let the players police themselves again.

Yea that's why I'm here, you got me. Gloating about Neal getting one game while my team is getting stuffed like a pig.

My cover is blown.

One of these days it will all come out. And we'll find who has been responsible for putting the screws to the Flyers all this time.

The NHL made the Flyers lottery ball lighter during the Crosby draft so the Flyers wouldn't get him #conspiracy

Just admit it. The League doesn't want one of the teams in one of the largest markets in the League to succeed. Why would they want that?

- MJL

Well that's obvious. Bettman is singlehandedly rigging the PHX-CHI series so that small-town teams can become the star of the league.

Are you saying you believe the Flyers receive the same treatment as every other team in the league?

Or do you believe certain teams don't perhaps get the benefit of the doubt from the league?

if you don't think the pens have gotten the better go of the calls in this series you have to be stupid. we get calls for us, they can't appear to not give us any calls at all. but the pens have gotten away with at least 5 blatant penalties this series. the flyers have gotten called for a lot of penalties due to pens embellishing. you would have to be stupid as poop to think the flyers have gotten a fair skake in this series. neal didn't even get a penalty for running couturier. don't try to tell me anything else. just admit i'm right

Yes I did actually. But not by much. When his name was getting thrown around the summer before we got him I looked him up a bit to see how his game was.

The ash from the asteroid hitting the earth eventually came down, weather patterns and geological changes, Oh yea and the massive amounts of snow from the ice age would have made most of the Earth's dry land swampy thus large decaying animals such as Dinosaurs would sink into the sediment.
