I suspect a hefty ban is in the works for Neal and Asham. On Monday I was thinking ban, but today I am thinking large ban. All signs point that way.

Do you really expect JVR to just come right in the lineup and be the player he was in last year's playoffs? After not skating in how long. Do you think he's in game shape? Playoff game shape?
- MJL

I don't expect him to have a huge impact but a player of his skill who's been playing the game for most of his life should be able to have some impact. It's not like he's been sitting around eating bags of potato chips for breakfast, lunch and dinner since his injury. I'm sure the Flyers have been watching him closely as he's been recovering. I wouldn't be surprised if he was well rested and came out strong but I also wouldn't be surprised if he didn't do much. I've once watched Peter Forsberg not play a single regular season game just to return and lead the post season in points. Does JvR possess that sort of greatness? Probably not but he's only been out just under 2 months.

could just be a lengthy explanation that has to be detailed in the video.

anyway, I'm of the opinion that they spend more time on the video production than they do considering the suspension.

He's not Forsberg. And 2 months is a long time. It's not fair to expect JVR to return and play to the level that he played at in last year's playoffs.

The Walmart where they film these videos is pretty packed today. Luckily for the NHL its a 24 hour Walmart. I have heard video attendant Tony is adding some cool sound effects and putting the finishing touches on the video. Decision within the hour.

I agree he doesn't play until they are absolutely sure he is ready to play at the pace required.

Forsberg is a ppg player on one leg. Thats the reason I want NJD to win. If we play the NYR, I want it to be as late as possible to max the chances of JVR and Meszy returning.

He might be waiting to see who wins game 4 to see if he can avoid suspending a star player during the playoffs.

An Phoenix gets a PP out of it. It is plays like that where in game review needs to be implemented.

Torres is sure to get suspended for that hit. No respect, and players cant enforce respect because of the stupid counter intuitive rules.

Such BS.

It's not fair to expect it and no he isn't Peter Forsberg but I wouldn't rule anything out. He's still drafted number 2 in his class and he has already surprised in the past.

Pfft. Facts.

I've said that or posted it several times since the last Rangers game. Falls on mostly deaf ears.
