you really think Richards always gave 110%?

When he was tipping a stripper, sure. Other than that....no. If he had, he'd still be here.

Best case scenario... none of them actually have to play.
Although I think Harry Scrabble and Gusty could fill in for limited minutes in a pinch.

I hope the Flyers aren't thinking they have this won.

This is almost like a trap game, Pitt is down with possibly three forwards suspended.

I guess the playoffs should remove any chance of a let up in play, but I'm a bit nervous about game 4.

Not that he is a big upgrade, I'm just a little surprised that Bachachewhollaatya would be played over Leighton. Considering he took us to the finals a few years back.

I don't know much about McGinn, Brown, or Ford.
Is Lauridsen anything more then a big body?
Manning was OK in the the brief stint here.

Watch Burrows from the 27-35 second mark. Running his pointer finger of his glove back and forth under his nose.

Burrows is a clown. I miss Richie, but I love our younger team. Jeff Carter can go pee up a pole. He sucks pickles.

Still officially day-to-day. Doesn't seem right now like he'll be ready for tomorrow.

And that's ok. Let him heal fully. Too young too push himself to really do more damage. I think our D can handle it.

McGinn is a poor skater but has decent hands and power forward instincts.

Brown is a player they like a bit as a potential role player with some speed. He looked good in training camp.

Ford came over in the trade that sent Kevin Marshall to the Caps organization. He is a young veteran minor leaguer who is a fine scorer at the AHL level. The Flyers have extended his contract (he would have been a FA) for another year.

Lauridsen is someone the org likens to Grossmann or Kjell Samuelsson. Personally, I see David Printz but I hope I'm proven wrong. He did play an important role on Phantoms by end of this season.

From the Pitt forum:

5. Are the Flyers this good or are the Penguins that bad?

From sulshawn: The Flyers have a lot of depth with youth and speed. All lines seem to be clicking but I don't think they are this good. I think Pittsburgh's defense has been awful with a lot of players out of position and goaltending has been problematic too. If Pittsburgh's defense played average, they’d be up 2-1 in series. Give Philly credit though, they took the Pens off their game and made them very undisciplined both in taking foolish penalties and in their gameplay.

I half agree with this. I think we aren't playing to our full potential either. If Pitt played like they did earlier in march they would be the ones up 3 to 0. I just think we match up too well against them. We are almost the same team. Almost.

James Neal's hearing(s) was at 10 a.m. ET this morning.

Bob McKenzie ‏ @TSNBobMcKenzie
Arron Asham waived right to in-person hearing. It'll be done by phone at 5 p.m. ET. League has option of suspending 6 or more if it chooses.

there are other hearings later today - i'm guessing they announce all disciplinary action in a single release.

Akeson (at least in the pre season games I saw) looked like a guy with speed and skill.

Is he just too small to succeed at the next level?

BTW thanks for the reply.
