It was a reverse scenario about a week ago when pens fans were trash talking about how the Flyers were going to be a cake-walk. Don't be mad bro. You guys just have no management or coaching that can control the thugs.

His stock has gone down because hes fragile. The Pens or another team are going to have to give him 9-10 mill per year. I would be worried about him being 1 hit away from eating a 60 mill guaranteed contract

That's the thing... if in games 2 and 3 they showed any ability whatsoever to stop the Flyers offensively, I would have a glimmer of hope.

We are upset because some of our players, including our own superstar, were deliberately targeted at the end of the game. The headhunting displayed by the Penguins was a complete and utter disgrace. There's no room for that garbage in the sport.

The whole Crosby circus has been clearly overstated by some of our fans, but, then again, what exactly do you expect when he acts in the manner that he did?

Regardless, Briere's response to yesterday's game when asked about it was: "It was fun!"

It is very obvious Malkin is a better player without Sid in the line up, even keeping him with Neal and Kunitz he doesnt have the fire for some reason when Sid is there, when Malkin is on he is unstoppable and potentialy better than a fragile Sid

Crosby-Malkin reminds me of Lemieux-Jagr. Malkin, to me, is like Jagr, where he just isn't always there. I used to think it was laziness, but I think it's different. I think it has more to do with the fact that many European players are just wired differently psychologically. When they're on, they're "on", and there aren't too many people that can stop them. When they're off, you just don't notice them at all, for better or for worse.

I don't know. Crosby and Malkin definitely coexisted just fine in 2009. In 2008, Malkin should have won the Conn Smythe as well...for being Detroit's best penalty killer. Many European hockey players, especially the really good ones, are just some weird, weird dudes.

Malkin was also healthy for the first time in a while this year.
