Your an idiot. I'm glad everyone is routing for you. Us against the world mentality works wonders in this town. Every city you mentioned would give their left leg for Crosby that's a fact. Up 3-0 and your in here trash talking stay classy Richard head - dbell646
It was a reverse scenario about a week ago when pens fans were trash talking about how the Flyers were going to be a cake-walk. Don't be mad bro. You guys just have no management or coaching that can control the thugs. |

If you honest believe his stock is going down, you haven't been paying all that much attention. Coming back from more than a year away, and putting up more points per game than anyone else in the league, he's still got it, and will be back to his full potential next season. - rival22
His stock has gone down because hes fragile. The Pens or another team are going to have to give him 9-10 mill per year. I would be worried about him being 1 hit away from eating a 60 mill guaranteed contract |

Hes still regarded as one of the best players in the world if not the best, but with the injuries and childish acts combined with the potential locker room issues you would have to assume would be associated with these types of acts
It is foolish to believe his value hasnt gone down since the pens won the cup or even the olympics |

The most positive thing out of all of this is maybe now hopfully the NHLs love affair with the pens will die down and we can see some fair called games - jimlahey18
And then maybe they will be able to call obvious offside calls
Oops, I'm sorry the Pens get all the calls. I keep forgetting about the league-wide conspiracy. |

The injury issue is the only thing out there. Yes, he acted childish in a game... for a guy who lives in the spotlight and puts up with everything he does night in and night out (both on the ice, and dealing with media, etc), and had to sit out 14 months, I give him a little more slack.
And what potential locker room issues are you talking about?
edit- sorry for screwing up the screen size... anyone know how you resize the embedded youtube? |

When you press 'share', then 'embed', there's a blue box titled 'custom' with two entry fields. make sure the horizontal width is 400 or less, it'll fill the vertical in for you, and the embed code automatically changes instantly. |

I hope the Flyers are as unraveled as their fans are. A bunch of fans upset being up 3-0.
If we can win 1 game then I will believe we could win 4 but it's hard to imagine a win as bad as the Pens have been. |

That's the thing... if in games 2 and 3 they showed any ability whatsoever to stop the Flyers offensively, I would have a glimmer of hope. |

We are upset because some of our players, including our own superstar, were deliberately targeted at the end of the game. The headhunting displayed by the Penguins was a complete and utter disgrace. There's no room for that garbage in the sport.
The whole Crosby circus has been clearly overstated by some of our fans, but, then again, what exactly do you expect when he acts in the manner that he did?
Regardless, Briere's response to yesterday's game when asked about it was: "It was fun!"
We are all thrilled to be up 3-0, but won't be satisfied until we get that 4th one.

I'm astounded at the hate for Crosby. The jealousy is really sad to see. He is far and away the best player in the league and everyone Flyer, Islander or Leaf fan on these boards would have creamed to get him onto their team.
There's no doubt that he behaved badly yesterday but to listen to everyone here you'd think he had pulled a Bertuzzi. |

PIT will be without Craig Adams in game four. His instigator in last 5 minutes stands. Auto 1 game suspension. $10K fine for Dan Bylsma.

Yes.
He did knock that glove...that was seriously mean.
And he did get into a scuffle with Timmonen and the Giroux...how dare him...hockey has never seen such barbarianism.
There's still a lot of hate/envy when it comes to Crosby.
There's no other way to describe fans who have a 3-0 lead...and yet they still aren't happy.
Only thing that will silence the Flyer fanbase is a career ending injury or a cup....
Nah...who am I kidding...they'd still find something to be angry about. |

His and the teams' meltdown over this series is one of the most bizarre things I've seen in hockey. It's not a huge shock that they're losing --- although I thought they'd win --- but they way that they have just destroyed themselves is amazing. |

I think even the people who hate the Penguins can agree with that. |

Last year with the Flyers it was obvious there were issues with Richards and Pronger.
It seems like Malkin wants this to be his team. He even made Crosby let him be the last to go out onto the ice when Crosby did that every game of his career prior to playing with Malkin. It is very obvious Malkin is a better player without Sid in the line up, even keeping him with Neal and Kunitz he doesnt have the fire for some reason when Sid is there, when Malkin is on he is unstoppable and potentialy better than a fragile Sid |

Does Shero have Burke's number? I'm Kadri wouldn't create those kind of problems if we moved him for Sid. Always looking for a way to help out. |

So...it's all Crosby and/or Malkin's fault for Malkin not playing as well.
Your rookie sensation has nothing to do with it?
You clearly need to be better informed. |

Crosby-Malkin reminds me of Lemieux-Jagr. Malkin, to me, is like Jagr, where he just isn't always there. I used to think it was laziness, but I think it's different. I think it has more to do with the fact that many European players are just wired differently psychologically. When they're on, they're "on", and there aren't too many people that can stop them. When they're off, you just don't notice them at all, for better or for worse. |

I don't know. Crosby and Malkin definitely coexisted just fine in 2009. In 2008, Malkin should have won the Conn Smythe as well...for being Detroit's best penalty killer. Many European hockey players, especially the really good ones, are just some weird, weird dudes.
Malkin was also healthy for the first time in a while this year. |
