Thanks. I'll be here all day. It's a viscous cycle. Every other comment is about the Canucks diving and whining from trolls. If you have some better responses PM them to me and I'll be happy to copy and paste them.

I looked it up and it says, while the player can ask for arbitration every year, a team can do it only once, if a player has played in the league for 4 years.

Schneider has, although in 09-10 he played only 2 games...

I do agree that arbitrator will look at Howard contract. Howard signed 2y deal (his salary was not determined by an arbitrator).

But, Quick's contract was signed in Oct 2009 and was his 1st after Entry Level Contract. Schneider had one contract after ELC... Comparison is not the same to Quick...

Well, thats because Burrows was involved in it.

Hjalmarsson got a huge offer sheet too and Chicago had to match it. I can't remember if it was SJ who signed him to it though.

Correct, on both counts. $3.5/y for 4. After, 1.5y in teh NHL... This is why I am thinking that Schneider could get an offer sheet.

Oh man I live in Ottawa, theses Sens fans are something else. Something just makes them different then every other sports fans.

My point was he should have had his captains back instead of blaming him.

I didn't hear Julian come out last year and say Horton has to keep him head up and not watch his pass.
