After all of Burrows crap in the past you think he would have matured but in game 1 of this series there he is taunting Richards and Carter by pretending to chop up lines of coke and snorting rails with his stick. Game 1 and they are on that crap already.

This team needs less players of this level of maturity. It's too much having Kes, Burrows and Lappy at once. The Canucks lose games to this stuff one way or another every year in the playoffs. If it isnt the calls and hate from the refs...it's motivating the other team. You want to go on and on about coke rumours out on the ice...you imagine the other team is going to back them... there's a place for the trash talk but it seems like this team takes it too far. Bieksa and Kesler in past years have skated by the oppositions bench doing the sweep and we end up eliminated... they act like inexperienced punks out there.

And this is why, by and large, there's a lot of fans in Canada, fans of other teams, that won't root for you. I'm not talking about rivalries (I would never cheer for the Sens or the Habs; just not going to happen), but if Calgary, Edmonton, or Winnipeg were in it? Absolutely.

It's happening here too. My 13 year old told me a bunch of kids in her class failed an essay because they used text spellings in it. Ur instead you're, imo instead of in my opinion and crap like that. I informed her a while ago if she doesnt get good grades she'll be working with me after graduation. Honor roll.

I have a 2 and a half year old and he goes to my mother in laws for daycare, where he is with his cousins (5, 7 and 11) all of which have Nintendo DS's, they all watch TV from the moment they get up to the moment they goto t bed and the oldest has a laptop. None of those kids can pay attention to anything, all of them, when the screens are off, constantly say they are bored and are completely baffled by the world inches past their screens... screen time is sapping the life out of kids. It confuses me so much why so many parents are willing to give their kids these things, or even push them on them.

My kids have a Wii, which they get limited time on. My 360 is just that: mine. 13 year old has a cell, mainly so i can keep in contact. No DS. No iPad. I locked MTV out after I watched one episode each of Jersey Shore and, a show I still can't believe exists, "16 And Pregnant". She was livid when she found out. I was more livid that this crap even existed.

How about Jensen with a hat trick last game, and Cannata with a big win.
