Nope, pretty much just bragging rights at the company picnic
Been a blast this week. Let's keep it up all summer long.
Can't believe Hank is still here. Marathon man you're a beast - IanEsplen
Yeah Hank (both of them) are marathon men. A 3:24 minute shift (after the Brown hit) and an all day blog-a-thon.
If we get dumped out of the playoffs early I can't say you'll see too much of me until July 1st. A wolf needs time to lick his wounds. |

Is that right. They should have never let go of Morrison.

I'd keep Burrows, maybe try to re-sing Pahlsson if the price is right. The rest I'd be ok with moving if there's a trade to be made. Note that I'm not advocating simply dumping any of these guys since they'll all fetch a return (varying degrees). - AlexF
If Luongo can be dealt to Tampa Bay, I'd love to see Hedman coming back this way! Meaning Edler becomes a huge trading chip. Sure he's not having a great series, but he's still good at 26 yrs old.
As for Burrows, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him gone if the return was good! |

The diving team is well done but needs to be updated as Ehrhoff decided to take more money to play for a team that's way worse at diving. What an idiot. |

Interesting. I've found those guys to be pretty cool actually. Confusing that you'd pick the Sabres as a 2nd favorite (or 1st favorite) team though. I'm guessing it goes way back? - AlexF
2nd favorite. Not really, was a big Briere fan plus the two franchises are quite similar if you think about it. |

There was a rumor in Jan that TB called about Schneider and when Gillis brought up Hedman as a starting point the conversation quickly ended. I don't see Steve Y letting Hedman go. Connelly either. It'll be something like a 1st + Purcell. |

I hear ya...
I typically stop posting after the first round anyways. Last year I only posted once in the three late rounds. I usually come back for the draft and then July 1st again....then camp.
This year I think I`ll stick around for the AV death watch. It wont be like when Nonis was fired and the entire Canucks Nation was head hunting me, the evil Nonis hater. There will be a mob this time round...someone else can poke him with the spear. I`ll prop up the crusifix....

I have to say, I laughed out loud when I saw Kesler take the dive after the Mitchell cross-check. Forgot who it was on LA that dove a minute prior to that, but it was amateur night regardless and it was almost like Kesler was showing him how it was done. |

Think you guys might be overvaluing the return for luongo. Nobody wants a way overpriced goalie these days. Many people here are calling for a 1st rounder and 2nd and a prospect/player. You would get a 1st for schneider but not bobby lu. It would almost be a salary dump. Teams would prob rather offer sheet schneider then force you to either overpay and get stuck with 2 bad contracts or steal em from you. |

The criteria for RFA draft pick compensation in 2011-12 is as follows:
$1,034,249 annual cap hit or less: No compensation
$1,034,249 — $1,567,043: Third-round pick
$1,567,043 — $3,134,088: Second-round pick
$3,134,088 — $4,701,131: First and third-round pick
$4,701,131 — $6,268,175: First, second and third-round pick
$6,268,175 — $7,835,219: Two first-round picks, a second and third
$7,835,219 and higher: Four first-round picks
You really think someone is going to offer sheet Schneider to a crazy contract? If so then the Canucks get some good draft picks. |

Back in Jan, the TSN consensus (make of that what you will) for a Schneider trade would be a 1st rd pick + top 6 F /top 4 D. I dare say his value has gone up since Jan but even if it hasn't, that return is still better than those you posted above. Gillis will either trade before to July 1, sign and trade, or sign and keep (and trade Lu). |

lololol....that is rich...all the Nucks i met after the last game of the season, I was in attendance during that Edm vs Van game, going on as if they won the Cup, or were guaranteed a spot in teh finals again because they won the President's Trophy.
From the old douche in section 323 picking on the 4 young Oiler fans in front of me to the 3 drunk kids on the skytrain that followed me....all cocky (frank)s...
So before you give broad sweeping motions to cover a fan base best to look at your own fanbase first... - OilHorse
You act like their is no such thing as a cocky Oil fan. Let me tell you, Ive seen tons fo them on here, and youve achived just as much as us in the last ten year. And I choose not to call them out or paint your city with a wide brush because im a civilized individual.
If you want to call all Canucks fans ignorant idiots go ahead. But its false.
you likely hate us we dive, female dog and whine. You knwo what!? I dont like it either. Its bloody embaressing.
But their is also another side to the story. The fact that we own the conference and your straight up and your likely jealous. Leave it alone stop trolling and crawl back in to the bed in your mothers basement. |

Down 0-3 to Quebec, The Halifax Mooseheads have forced a game 7. Way to go Canucks prospect Alex Grenier who's been clipping along at a point per game in the playoffs. |

I cant believe I wasted an hour of my life skimming thru pages of poop... like absolute piles of garbage.
Canucks don't have a chance right now.. with or without Daniel.
LA fans looks so stupid right now... the only fans who were wrapping this series up with a little bow were LA fans packing it in before the series even began. Most level headed canucks fans knew this series would be tough.
Now these same fans are coming in here going... YAA.. SUCK ON THAT COCKY VANCOUVER FANS... (frank)ING female dogES |

How about Jensen with a hat trick last game, and Cannata with a big win. |
