I think so. I say to Tampa for Brett Connolly and either det 1st ot Tampa 2nd. - Bieksa#3
Not a chance of that happening. If Luongo is traded I wouldn't expect much in return. Look at the last bad contract traded, brian campbell. Think chicago got another bad contract and a bag of pucks. Paying goalies a kings ransom is no longer the case. Who wants to be stuck with that contract? I would expect teams to offer sheet schneider instead of trading for lu |

Get off your high horse. This series could easily be 2 -1 canucks. - Bieksa#3
It's not. |

They'd just match it and then trade one of them |

5 million for a legitimate #1, and the cap hit would be lower than that, seems pretty decent. - Cornelius
Cap hit is 5.3ish. |

yes then they would be in a tough spot b/c other teams know they wont keep 2 high priced goalies. So trade value will go down significantly |

Plus the whole Kesler-shadow-of-himself bullcrap - Mattjd123
Well if for some reason u guys decide he's part of the problem... I sure would like him in Buffalo!
Maybe Kesler doesn't have what it takes to be a true #1 type guy u can count on all the time... But I like his overall game... And it could just be that he's not playing with wingers that are all that good offensively
You guys go get Parise to play on that 2nd line and you'll be very very tough to slow down offensively |

Nose Face Killah put on quite the diving clinic in that Bruins/Caps game. I guess we're not the only team "disgracing the game" with that bullsh!t. |

To all you canucks fans trying to figure out why your team isn't a cup contender.....
"A lot of people think 'That's playoffs,' " Sedin said. "You can't just defend everything with, 'Oh, it's playoffs.' That's a mindset I don't really buy into and I don't understand"
Henrik Sedin
Sooo your star players don't understand the difference between regular season hockey and playoff hockey. Hmmmm. Bit of a problem when you're playing against other teams who have players pouring their heart and soul out on the ice and your star players don't understand why they are doing such a thing...... |

Kings fans are awfully Cocky. Nope, Idont expect the Canucks to miraculously comeback and win this one. But u need to win four and the Kings ahvent done that.
For a team that just squeaked in the playoffs its pretty hard to understand why Kings fans think their winning the Stanley cup in the first round.
The Kings deserve to be up. Theyve worked hard, Theyve played better hockey. Yet their fanbase still comes out looking idiotic?
O well. I wasnt expecting a Cup run from the Nucks truthfully. And I certainly dont see it coming out of LA.
Good luck Kings. |

It must be a Swedish thing? Probably why we won't win a Cup with him as our captain! |

lololol....that is rich...all the Nucks i met after the last game of the season, I was in attendance during that Edm vs Van game, going on as if they won the Cup, or were guaranteed a spot in teh finals again because they won the President's Trophy.
From the old douche in section 323 picking on the 4 young Oiler fans in front of me to the 3 drunk kids on the skytrain that followed me....all cocky (frank)s...
So before you give broad sweeping motions to cover a fan base best to look at your own fanbase first... |

Don't get me wrong, I like having skilled guys on our team that aren't physical. Every team has them. But you don't outright say sh!t like that in public? That's not leadership! Lidstrom wouldn't say something like that. |
