He goes from light skate without team, to not even travelling, and now he's cleared for practice? This could be nothing more than a media stunt to keep LA guessing, but unfortunately they'll have a target on him the entire night.

I think our parade was rained on by the LA Kings already chief, but I appreciate your civility.
There were a couple PPs last night where I found myself wondering if Daniel would have put away a few of the chances, but the reality is I doubt Daniel’s return can turn the tide in the series at this point. Not when Quick is saving 40+ shots a night anyway.

We're getting killed by Dustin Brown and Jon Quick, so it can't just be the country.
First off the coach shouldn't have to motivate anyone on the Canucks... Last years loss and the fact that it is the Stanley Cup playoffs should be enough motivation. The real problem is the character of that team, and their true colors always show in the playoffs. Enjoy polishing the presidents trophy, I'm sure the leaders in Vancouver would set up a parade so you all can experience one. Also the hit on Sedin was the best I've seen in a long time... Best part is the expression of the Canuck two to the right of where he was hit on the bench, his face tells you how bad it felt... And he wasn't even the one who was hit
Funny, I don't think I've heard one preson say it was illegal on here. I'm more pissed that the coach didn't go to bat for his captain. Instead he blamed him.

I agree with most that the hit was clean but it was borderline charging. It can go either way with the refs typically. Lets be clear tho...someone should make Brown understand that he's getting knuckles for a hit like that....or he steps it up next chance he gets...
Of the four times a Sedin has been run hard this year, this was the 1st that I would call legal. All four times Bieksa has been on the ice...two hits from behind with a Sedin leaning forward, the Keith hit on Danny and this one by Brown...this was the first time he even did anything more than ask the player if he felt like fighting....which the answer was always no.
Bieksa has a NTC...is going nowhere. I was sick when he became our highest paid dman...a player who can only be effective with Hamhuis....and only sometimes.
This is the tough player we choose to gut our power play over in the summer.

Your captain gets hit like that...sure it was clean... you respond by pounding him in the face with your glove on, 2 minutes for roughing... that's an easy penalty to kill off.
Putting the guy in a headlock and telling him not to do that doesn't work, just ask my big brother, I kept doing it over and over because I knew nothing was going to happen....until one day it did, and he beat the crap out of me.
