Completely agree they didnt have the same spark or wow factor like they did last year. Last year they just seemed dominant all the time.

its not the players fault, or the GM's, or AV's as much as you wish it was. Its all about the Green Men, clearly they havent been the intimidating/inspiring presence they were last year.

Jonathan Toews openly admitted to coming back too soon from a concussion earlier this season and making it worse. For Daniel's sake, here's hoping he's not doing the same thing. As passionate as we all are, I don't think anyone wants to see him ruin his career or worse by attempting to come back early to play in a 3-0 series.

I think it's pretty clear this is a blind side hit. But like I said, the NHL removed the penalty for blindside hits last year.

I never said it was a head shot, I simply said that his shoulder makes contact with Henrik's head. It's on a follow through.

I think blindside hits like this are cheap, but still clean. The same reason I thought the Rome hit on Horton was clean. It was a blindside hit as well. Given it was .5 seconds later. Look at the stuff Marchand does but doesn't get called for. Clean can still be cheap.

Maybe worth giving it a shot for game 6 or 7 if the Canucks can take the next couple? I just think putting Daniel in place of Hank on that Brown hit, and this suddenly doesn't sound like such a good idea.
