I don't buy the "they were acting entitled." There's no question they are a different team than last year. The 8-1 run at the end of the season in no way reflected how they were playing. It's the oddest President's Trophy win of all time as most in Vancouver would tell you they had a very average looking year. They were inconsistent at best.

Maybe they'll come out to play in game 4 now that their backs are against the wall. But during game 1 and game 2 it doesn't appear they were taking the Kings seriously at all. It also seems LA has solved their scoring problem.

Since they acquired Carter they have out score the Nucks.

Completely agree they didnt have the same spark or wow factor like they did last year. Last year they just seemed dominant all the time.

Ya. I don't think they felt they were entitled. I think they just aren't as good as people thought. Plus AV's style is wearing very thin. I think next season they will be back to top form as they will make some moves and hopefully get a new coach.

Well, it sounds like you are trying to justify one riot while condemning another. I would guess that both were started by individuals that had a specific agenda, other than the original purpose of the gathering. To me, the different nature of the events is irrelevant.

I think they just aren't as good of a team as people thought. Not an excuse, but I do think they are a bit tired plus missing their top goal scorer hurts. But I don't think any Canucks fans were truly confident this year. Before the playoffs started I picked them to lose in the first round. My lack of confidence is paying off in my hockey pool at least.

The Canucks fans are the most consistently obnoxious group on this site. Not far behind, in a tie for second is the Summer 2011 & March 2012 Sabres fans, tied with the Post November Senators fans.

Say they don't get swept and even come back and beat LA. I am still enjoying this now. Their fans and media have been an absolute bunch of babies about it. Go look at other sites or Twitter. Read how they're acting about the Dustin Brown hit. It's hideous. I can't stand MTL but I have to admit they're 1 million times the better crowd of people than VAN. At least with MTL there is a real rivalry with Boston. VAN and their fans act just like a spoiled brat when they don't get what want.

Keep crying VAN hopefully all the way to an April tee time.

Sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes it's a pain in the butt...the complaints from all the saints who claim they were just "distributing facts". It's funny how many people get banned who act like Darcy Tucker did when he'd get a penalty...most innocent guy in the NHL.

He never had time to turn around. It was a blindside hit. On the video you can see players yelling before Brown comes.
