that is the one i am laughing from actually... the one where we stole a great trade from the team that had all of the hype surrounding their return to the playoffs and now they have the gritty guy they needed.
The same chair I sit in as a team that almost was the first to ever come back from 10 pts down on V-day to just miss out on the playoffs ONLY because Myers and Ehrhoff both got hurt. If they would have been healthy we would have made it and Buffalo would have been scary with how good Miller was playing.
Any other questions? - JVince117
WOW...even cocky from the grave.
clearly the 2011-2012 season taught you nothing. |

Question for people in LA
Why couldn't the game be played tonight and then the ice may have been better after having a day to set. Would have made more sense wouldn't it.
Better ice = better hockey
and imo that would sell the game a lot better. |

I just did. Youtube "Doughty" and several videos of him diving all over the place will appear. Modern technology is amazing. |

I do always enjoy (as I've used this example before) seeing homeless guys (bad teams) make fun of other teams faltering in the playoffs.
Homeless guy: "Hey buddy!!! Yeah, you there with the Canucks jersey...nice house buddy, come in mens?"
And then goes back into his cardboard box house and pulls his shopping cart infront to "close the door". - Juice

We would have only been 4 or 5.. and at that point... there are no "sick" draft picks.. they are just guys that need time and work.
This is one of the most shallow draft classes in recent history. There are NO talents that are deemed to make it to the NHL and be a huge success instantly like a Malkin, Ovechkin, Crosby, or Stamkos. - JVince117

I'd rather have my team golfing right now then having to watch them on national tv embarrassing themselves and diving all over the place - TheFactor

clearly... your eyes have failed you.
When we were going along and had all of the team healthy finally.. we were the best team in the NHL. Miller was like 17-4-2 down the stretch with a 1.66 GAA.
and then..... Myers and Ehrhoff get hurt.. and Sulzer leaves the team for personal issues.
It is what it is... thank god for 2012-2013 NHL!! see ya later folks. |

This is just sweeter than I could have imagined. Only downside is that we won't get to see another flaming car anytime soon............. or will we? - Mr_Smokey

Hahah so now you guys are blaming the ice for playing bad?? You know its kinda better for you guys when the ice is soft cuz this way theres a lesser chance of kesler hurting himself diving all over the place |

If it makes you feel better about the Canucks, then keep searching for King dives.
What you cannot deny is that it is generally known that almost every player on the Canucks dives. It is disgusting. - RedwingsAreKHL
Thanks tips...but I was just commenting on that particular clip. Never seen it before. |

Awesome hit by Brown. A perfect example of the type of hits that need to stay in the game. |

Yeah....and so were the Leafs in the second half of 2010-2011...how'd that work out for them?
Bottom line, the season is 82 games...not "best stretch the team can put together multiplied by the equivilent to a full season"

I agree...good clean hit. It's not the hit I have a problem with, it's the response or lack of. This team is in need of a culture change! |
