The rangers, Boyle had it coming after punching karlisson. In comparison, how would they feel if Neil started jabbing gaborik in the face? I get it playoffs are tough, but karlisson wasn't even near the scrum when Boyle jumped him

preds, also had it coming after what Weber did.

I didn't see the blues and sharks game so I don't now what's with that

This is why Torts is a complete and absolute joke.... I literally laughed out loud this morning watching video of him screaming at the officials after Carkner crushed Boyle..... Here's a novel thought Johnny boy.... If you're going to complain about shots your players take..... like getting jumped or hit knee on knee.. then don't let your players do those exact same things!

Mario was called a hypocrite for complaining about headshots with Cooke on the roster..... Is it time we can call Torts a hypocrite for having Rupp and Boyle on his team now....... I won't hold my breath waiting for a league wide condemnation of his teams actions even though they have been a disgrace to the league all season with their antics.

Oh, you mean the same kind of mugging that happened when the Isle attacked the Pens but everybody hates mario for saying something about it. Furthermore.... one of Torts angels takes a head shot? NOOOOOOO Cant be.... Torts team is totally clean. Torts is the biggest crying SOB Embarrassment. Didn't see him blow up about no respect after what Boyle did in game one. Also didn't blow up after the head shot last night. Double standard hypocrite!

GO OTTAWA!

Guess you need another team to root for, seeing your team is about tee off on their local golf course by sometime next week.

How many suspensions have the Rangers been doled out this season?

You are a moron Ranger hater of the highest order.

Rangers gooning it up is nothing new. They've been targeting our stars from the get go.
Go ahead, play Scott, Kreider whomever else...you are just playing into the Sens hands. Karlsson and Spezza will be skating circles around the Rangers. Enjoy your gooning!

You obviously have watched very few rangers games this year.
- bonzo11

Actually watched lots and honestly liked your team. Really just reacting to some Ranger fans talk about the Carkner/Boyle thing. I thought it was bush league for Boyle to go after Karlsson and over the top for Carkner to keep punching Boyle. Surprised Boyle did not answer bell as if he had, we likely wouldn't be into this. I think Ranger fans might have felt the same way if Carker/Cowen/Konopka had just punched Gaborik in the face 9 or 10 times in a scrum. On a separate note, big headshot to Alfie for a second time this season is not pleasing.

Disagree on the sucker punches, Boyle knew it was coming and Carkner gave him fair warning.

Agree that the punches while he was down were extremely unnecessary.

Spezza is playing in this series? Haven't noticed him. As for Erica Karlsson, believe me he will not be a factor beyond last night's game. Too bad he can't stand up for himself and needs a minor league goon to fight his battles.

Big win yesterday, but i wouldn't think the Sens have too many more miracles left. The Rangers are the deeper team, with a huge advantage in net. Gaborik and Richards haven't even shown up yet. I still think the Rangers take it in 5.

Are the Rangers worried Brenda Boyle might miss the flight to Ottawa because of a purse-shopping fetish?

On his way, he can swing by Mt Sinai and put Alfie's feeding tube back in.

Too soon?

Boyle had his arms at his side when Carkner unloads on him. It's against code, you wait for both pairs of gloves to be dropped.

On second thought, Hagelin needs to get atleast 5 games. It's pretty deliberate and caused injury.

- BuffMAN74

Not George leraques code. Carkner pretty much missed the whole game. He shouldn't be suspended. If he's suspended then Boyle deserves one for what happened in the first game. Personally I don't think there should be any suspensions. This is great hockey

That's not a suspension in the playoffs....let's just say nobody will be suspended for what happened last night.

Carker did not unload on Boyle...Carker would have killed him if he did. Boyle chose not to fight Carker and instead settled things with Niel. And that satisfied the Sens as far as Boyle goes and was the end of that. No further discipline needed.

remember when the playoffs started all the fighting went away. the intensity was there and amped up but no fights.
I don' t mind fights, love em, but this intent to injure stuff is out of control.
Head shots, forearm shivers etc. Someone needs to be tossed for a lengthy amount of time. Not a fringe player either. A player who has impact.
Lack of respect is at an all time high.
Play hard, play tough, play to win, but playing to injure is a disgrace.
I love the toughness part of the game, but seriously, this is out of control.

I must have missed the play where Boyle took karlson to the ice and threw 6 or so haymakers. I'm sorry mr. don't mess up my flowing locks couldn't take a few glove shots.

Youre an idiot

And anyone who says Rangers only fight when they have an advantage, tell that to Brandon Prust, who will literally fight ANYONE. The Rangers are the mold of what a hard working NHL team should be.
