Why would anybody waste their time worrying about stuff they cannot control? I'm going to do what I have always done, enjoy watching generational talents play hockey, fortunately for me some of them have played for my favorite team. The ones that don't, I enjoy them as well.

I pity the people that can't look past the jerseys the players wear.

Hope the Pens can get back to playing hockey sometime soon.

Well unlike Baltimore the Nats have a bonafide star #1 ace. And have quite the stud in the wings with Harper.

I'll let you know if I get to a SkyChiefs game to see Harper when he visits Rochester before he is called up.

To be honest I don't think about it at all. I try to base things in logic, that process lacks that. I don't have enough time in the day to waste trying to figure out what they are going to do. Suspension talk bores me to death. The exact same hit could happen with different jerseys on a different day and depending on rooting interest, the opinions change. Same sh*t different day. Yesterday it just happened to be the Penguins and Flyers.

People love to take the high and mighty road with a lot of this, but the fact is in almost all cases, you are left entertained and come back for more. If you werent, you would quit watching. Yesterday crossed some lines that I didn't like, but you and I will be back on Wednesday watching.

last night NHL network was reporting that the penguins had gone back to Pittsburgh with the extra day off between games and were given the day off by the head coach

Regardless if you guys are down 3-0...this is some damn good hockey to watch!

I stopped reading here yesterday when the first "1975" mention reared its head. I'm sure it didn't get any prettier.

Anyhow, should be an interesting coupla days off in these parts.

They had planned to go back to Pittsburgh before yesterday's game because of the time off between games, no idea if not having practice was pre planned as well.

Flyers are taking the day off as well.

I haven't ever been embarassed to be a Pens fan, until yesterday. From the moment the game went 3-1, the Pens just turned into something I didn't want to watch. A large part of me wants to say 'see you next year' but I know I will be intensly watching on Wednesday hoping for the unthinkable 4 game turnaround. Found this blog this morning and it pretty much summed up how alot of people feel right now.
