you honestly think that's some sort of dive by schenn? getting cross checked up high?

Not that particular one. Embellished though. He always looks like he is dead, and never misses a damn shift. In that instance, there is no question that what Asham did was in the wrong. A sad day when a team is dirtier than the Flyers. A reversal of discipline

The Penguins are the bad guys again! Was I the only one suprised Grossman didn't get 5 and a game for the knee to knee on Neal? Just because Neal didn't lie on the ice for 5 minutes and feign injury (coots and schenn), is likely the only reason he is not the focal point of this discussion.

Schenn's charge on Martin? Not a suspendable hit, but attempt to injure was there. Hopefully Martin and Neal or whoever is next just writhes in pain for a bit and maybe we get the 5 minutes there.

Both of these teams are disgusting, the Penguins for their play and stupidity. The Flyers for acting like they shouldn't have to be susceptible to cheap shots. Talk about hypocrites.

Thank god I don't see these events the way a Flyer fan did, otherwise I'd be a Flyer fan. I still say eff em. I think I hate them as much as Crosby does.

Flyers in the drivers seat. It would be the best day of my life for the Penguins to come back and win this series. Ain't over til its over. Let's Go Pens!

"The only hope at this point might be that the Flyers have exhausted themselves from raising their arms so often in celebration" - Dave Molinari, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

I had to laugh at that.

Sad but true.

The irony of a Bruin fan coming to the Pens GDT to call Sid a douche.

I can't believe how whiny Crosby sounded in his post game interview, his voice cracking like Peter Brady.

None of the greats ever had a moment like that after a frustrating loss.

that was embarrassing

I thought the same thing too. By no means does this excuse anything else that happened but that could have been a real devastating injury if he would have connected directly knee on knee.

Question to anyone who was at the game, where there some fans actually yelling "Crosby Sucks" during a moment of silence for the two firefighters who were recently killed? This is what I just heard on the radio. If so, wow!

Q: When you knocked Voracek's glove on the ice and hit it away was that just out of frustration?

"I don't like any guy on their team there. It was near me and he went to pick it up and I pushed it."

Q: Why don't you like them?

"I don't like them, because I don't like any guy on their team so."

Q: The fighting and such was that you trying to spark their team a little bit?

"Yea, guys are emotional and there is a lot of stuff going on out there. There is no reason to explain. I don't have to sit here and explain why I pushed a glove away they are doing a lot of things out there too. You know what, we don't like each other. Was I going to sit there and pick up his glove? What was I supposed to do?"

Q: You could skate away.

"Skate away? Oh well I didn't that time."

To me this is playoff rivalry talk. I don't have a problem with it.

I do have a problem with them playing themselves right out of the playoffs.

I am guessing if he had just given the status quo answer that you or someone like you would have said..."There goes Crosby again...boring..."

At least it wasn't a boring answer.

Plus, we are talking about pushing a glove away, right?...I am sure Voracek will recover from that.

Voracek will certainly recover.

Crosby's reputation as a whiner will definitely reach new levels though.

If his voice didn't crack like Peter Brady and he actually sounded tougher maybe it would be ok.

He didn't ask for that. Given how his past year and a half has gone, the guy is human. I would have shown signs of frustration well before he has and so would mostly anybody else who posts here.

If social media and blogs were around in past generations, a lot of the "greats" would not be portrayed the way they are now, that is fact.

you know, he gets into this "altercation" with Giroux, neither one of them are doing anything, the linesmen come over to break them up and that when he tries to throw some punches in.

It's very hard to try and be objective about him.

I can understand why you guys love him, but the league should seriously consider hitching the league wagon to Stamkos sooner rather than later.

Gretzky's voice was never tough...ever.

Doesn't make Crosby sound any better...just saying...your argument that none of the greats ever sounded like that might be a little off center.
