Even if Rinaldo did nothing he's the first guy they'll try to get out in a game like that. The refs should have been ejecting people half way through the 3rd. They lost control. - canadianpenfan
what he did was beyond stupid even tho he didnt do anything wrong...at that point the refs were pissed (they realized how much they suck) and were going to eject someone for tripping at that point |

and...
Rinaldo was dumb enough to say he could get away with more at the start of the series. That's how I read that...he gets away with nothing because of that comment. - icedog97
He was a marked man LONG before this series started; the refs (deservedly) cut him no slack all season. |

agreed. definitely a piss poor job by the refs at keeping the game under control. |

I can see why he was though. Can't just watch your best players get cheapshotted and do nothing about it. I don't blame Lavi there. - canadianpenfan
Speaking of which, where has Joe V been all series? Only time Ive heard his name is when the coughed up the puck that lead to a goal. |

Even reformed Cooke will never get the benefit of the doubt, nor should he. |

Didn't even play today.
Not sure why he was scratched over Asham, but he'll make his glorious return on Wed. |

I thought Vitale would be an important part of this series. Not impressed the way Bylsma has used him. |

I think the Flyers radio broadcast mentioned pre-game he was a scratch today. Didn't get much ice time in games 1 & 2. I thought he was a really effective player (along with the rest of his line) in game #1; not sure why Bylsma cut their ice time after the 1st period in that game. I'd imagine he'll be back in game #4 if Asham is suspended. |

He's King Puke today. I got no problem with hard, edgy, physical play...he was headhunting. If anyone should have a problem with that it's the Penguins. |

This is from what happened earlier and Pee Air said as much. Most of the time I don't agree with him.
I am just shocked with the lack of discipline from the Pens. They can play a lot better but maybe it's frustration. The Flyers have played well enough to win.
As for the cheap shots, it was from both teams but this game the Pens came out headhunting and show a lack of class on the ice.
It's not over by a long shot and Wednesday's game will be a all out war.
It will be interesting. |

Not worse than Asham.
Park was invisible today too, which was surprising. I thought he'd add some speed and defense to this team, but I barely heard his name. I'd be surprised if he got more than 5 min.
Just looked, shade over 8min. |

Pens fans you have no arguments or excuses today, your team was as bush league and should refund Tortarella $20,000 because today your team proved him correct, Crosby proved that he's tough, he can grab Timmonen when he isn't looking and try to throw a sucker punch only when the lineman has stepped in, he's lucky he wasn't concussed today, now for Asham, he has indoctrinated himself into the Penguin goon hall of fame, if he isn't suspended for the rest of the playoffs(1 game) and the start of next season then the point again is proven.
BTW love how the ref let Letang score a few more punches on a defenseless Timmonen, typical let Uncle Mario's team do whatever they please, and many wonder why the nhl is out of control and there's no respect amongst players. |

Forget how they played, the penguins embarrassed themselves, the organization, Mario, and the fans with how they acted. Great job guys... |
