TSN is reporting that the Pittsburgh Pengiuns are seeking NHL Commisioner Gary Bettman's approval to insert a Traffic Pylon in their goal crease in liu of a goaltender for the remainder of their series with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Neal had a number of cheapshots, the entire team melted down and acted like a 4 year old that had his toy taken away.

It was disgusting on every level.

I wonder what Mario was thinking as the game unfolded. The Flyers weren't saints, but the Penguins players initiated things and retaliated far more than I ever remember seeing them do before. He couldn't have been happy at all.

I'm shocked that the series has unfolded this way. Who would've thought that there would be 32 goals scored in this series after game 3? If you had told be that, I would've bet that the Flyers would be down 3-0 and that Bryz had a complete meltdown.

the thing that upsets me the most about this series, is if crosby (and I honestly hope he doesn't) should some how get hurt...everyone (not necessarily you guys pens fans) will call us dirty and demand we get punished..... I feel like the pens get away with alot because the nhl coddles them, this is not their fualt...but come on.


We are no saints I admit that, but what you guys did today was just try to hurt people...thats not how our great game should be played.

It's pretty obvious now that what they are TRYING to do is not working.

It's pretty obvious that 'the keep the puck in the other team's zone' approach is a strategy that doesn't require the team to play good defense. When it works, you don't need to...when it doesn't work, you are exposed.

It hasn't worked in the playoffs for the last 6 games straight and it has not really worked against the Flyers this year at all.

I'm disappointed because it didn't look like we really tried to do anything different today.

I am shocked at how poor we played in a game that should mean something to our team.

I am embarrassed that right now we are making all of those people who said things about us look like geniuses.

There are no excuses for what we have done in this series.

I never saw the first but saw the replays, that was bush league. One of many unfortunately.

I didn't like the play, but Asham is a stand up guy, and not the type to normally do that kind of thing.

I was more upset at the antics of Neal.

Lots of reasons for fans of both teams to be upset.

The only guy Asham could cross check there and hit the adam's apple is Barry Trotz. everyone else's is up in an area called a neck.

At least guys like Neal, Sid, Kunitz, Letang, are willing to do what no one on your team of ladies would. You would never see Vanek, Roy, Pominville, Myers drop the gloves to defend a teammate or send a message. And that's why your team underachieves year in and year out. Philly too has guys with skill who will play with some stones and do what needs to be done. Which is also why they're consistently better than Buffalo.

dropping your gloves and cheap shots are two separate things, letang impressed me with his fight. But the other three you listed, didn't drop their gloves, they took cheap shots and ran. So really dont even try and compare the two.

Its called payback. Im very frustrated that when Neal headshot Giroux at the end he bolte to the bench like a wussy. The game had calme down then he stirred poop up again.

I liked him a a player before. Now hes just anothe sneaky dirty (frank)er.
If Neal gets KO'ed i laugh at him and sy Karmas a female dog son. Hopefully they send Rinaldo out to do the dirty work next game.
