Flyers just trying to hang onto their 3 goal lead for the last 14 minutes.

- FlyerGuy

Enjoy it now. Because when the Flyers are up against a team that isn't playing defense at a beer league level, they're screwed. An 85% save percentage will send you home real quick against a team playing well. They'll be up 3-0, but allowing at least 12 in 3 games is not good.

Just put the Pens on the power play...there's about a 1 in 3 chance the Flyers will score.

There's no doubt in my mind we're getting swept. The only question is will the Flyers get 10 in game 4?

If they could keep the Flyers to 5 goals or less, they might not get swept... do they have another goalie to put in for game 4? Johnson might actually end this series with a worse SV% than Fleury...

I am not crazy. MAF is a terrible goaltender since '09. He started last year terribly and needed BJ to bail him out for the first quarter of the season. Now he has had an ok year this year, but he benefits from the best scoring team in the league. He has completely folded this year in the playoffs...by far the worse player on all 16 teams currently in the playoffs.

we'll see what happens in that event.

I'm not even thinking that far ahead til the Flyers win this and game 4 as well.

Just stop. He had a great season, but the Flyers are completely exposing our lack of defense.

If anything, Z and Martin need to go.

What we're watching is pretty inexplicable but shipping Fleury out isn't the answer. He has had an awful series but 3 games doesn't make a career.

Has any goalie ever won a playoff series with as horrible a SV% as Bryz has???

It's easy to get emotional and start shipping people out left and right when the playoffs go the way they have this year for the Penguins.

Nisk has looked pretty good today. MAF has not been good.I agree defense has been beyond horrible but they are asked to play a system that plays into the Flyers strength, IMO. MAF could have been better but he was not.

Won't get anything in return. They may need to seriously consider shipping out some high-end prospects or a guy like Staal to bring in a difference maker. Free agent market is too thin to expect to make improvements there.

He is so generally well liked compared to Therrien that it would take a lot IMO for him to lose his job.

This is the kind of flameout/meltdown that will shorten any leash. It's not like they squeaked in and got whacked by the 1 seed. They've looked inept and he's look lost.

Not to add fuel to the fire but he has had sub 90% the past two years not including the current year. Saying that, I think it is absolute ridiculous to even think of getting rid of fleury.

This isnt three games...he has consistently in his whole career made mental mistakes that cost teams bigtime. He was doing it before he was a pro...hello team canada vs usa botch job...hello winter classic in pitts...hello that first one today...I COULD HAVE STOPPED THAT!! He is great and athletic sure, and comes up with flashy saves, but he is beyond prone for giving up terrible back breaking goals. This pens team NEEDS a solid netminder. I don't mind the obvious goals going in, but MAF lets in the terrible ones and makes the big save. Its kills the team everytime!!
