What in the frank? Looks like I missed the most entertaining period of the series. 4 goals in one period? Fleury picked the wrong time of year to fall apart.
- canadianpenfan

both goalies let in softies.

MAF not getting much help either ... Flyers getting some good looks at the net.

Hes still out there, and the shackles will be off if were in the 3rd in a blowout game. Buyer beware

Seeing that Asham hit looks like he hit him at his shoulders, missed his neck. But the punch afterwards, can't defend that.

At least two warts are gone in Letang and Asham
- Just5

With the way that Letang has played this series that might not be such a good thing for your team.

True, but do you really have any in confidence in what youve seen?

That Lemieux "Letter to the Commish" post-Islanders game is coming back to bite him after this fiasco.

They are no different than any other team in hockey.

Everybody thinks their team isn't dirty...ever...it's just not so.

How many years was Asham a Flyer anyway?

It looked the like punch got a lot more of Schenn's back/shoulder than his head. Like I said, it was a DIRTY play, and Asham deserved all he got, but Schenn put some quality acting there.

What happened to the "quiet room"? Look at Mike Smith last night, lays there dead, team doctor comes out, and Smith stays in the game. Schenn looks dead, and barely misses a shift. Lots of theatrics going on in this garage league.

Can't defend his actions...but it looked worse than it really was.

Also, player was uninjured (returned to the game).

I have seen much, much worse.

you are far off. the pens cross the line time after time. don't even try that. thugs. and crosby needs to stop whining so much. worry about hockey, you're not a ref cindy

I thought the crosscheck was a few inches below the neck/chin area. Still way too close, and it certainly looked bad in the eyes of the ref.

As far as the punch, that was pretty lame. But Asham should probably only get 1/10 the punishment of Carkner, who must have hit Boyle TEN TIMES while he was on the ice.

That's the thing... The Pens could score the next goal, and it will feel more like a game, but until they show any ability whatsoever to play defense as a team, and make some saves, it doesn't even matter.
- rival22

I thought Neal's goal was gonna be a game changer. Then Orpik completely poops the bed on that 2 on 1

This game Isn't over nor is this series.

Schenn left his feet and deserved the charging call. After watching Asham come in on replay he crosscheck the upper chest. Will he still get suspended? I don't care. That was needed at that point in the game.

I expect the Pens to come out and turn this game around. Let's hope the Flyers come out swinging and take a couple penalties.

no, you can't. that was assault. he should be in jail. the "charge" you speak of was a borderline penalty at best. they're just sore losers

I am far off from what...your slanted point of view?

Do you even remember some of the stuff Hartnell has done before?
