Problem is he doesn't just look cross eyed at anyone, we dodged a bullet that Couts wasn't seriously hurt, does anyone really care about losing a 4 minute a game player who could handle this situation?
Yes goal is to win, but would anyone like to see someone important out of the next series at the cost of staying passive?

Want to hand the Pens a 9 minute PP to start game four?

Yes. What I'm saying is, if he hits another Flyer high, dirty and away from the puck, somebody runs Crosby. I'm not saying to do anything illegal until something illegal is done first.

Basically you say, Neal, you;re going to get yours. But if you decide to run up your tab, then Crosby is going to be your co-signer...and payment is due now.

Yes, it sends the wrong message to the team. There's a reason why Laviolette was preaching composure to his team on the bench. Composure wins. Lack of it, such as the Pens exhibited today, loses. There is a bigger picture here. Including the development of Rinaldo as a player. He already has a bulls eye on him. Why should he be sacrificed?

Blah blah blah. Keeping our roster in tact and avoiding anything stupid that gets someone suspended is much more important than your troglodyte sense of justice. Plenty of time to get Neal when it matters. You don't give a (frank) about Neal? Well apparently you do, enough that you would rather see the Flyers risk losing a player of their own instead of looking at the big picture, which is winning this series as quickly as possible and having a full lineup ready to go against their second round opponent.

Neal can wait.

- MBFlyerfan

ok you can lose Rinaldo or Shelley to suspension, or potentially another good player from taking another head shot
being a troglodyte is pushing back???

not according to their coach and captain. post game interviews were a joke.

I wouldn't expect them to admit it publicly.

I would love to be at a Florida home win to see that. Not at the expense of the Flyers of course

Huge difference between standing up for yourself, and taking shots at somebody outside the context and flow of the game. No reason to do so right now. Save that for another time.

So I was just told on the Penguins thread that I'm not allowed to talk about anything prior to 2004 after I had a very civil conversation with another poster about the history of the franchise. Wow.
- snake17

I pop in to read other posts but stick to talking here. I know the mods and everyone will say oh its for everyone, but around this time of year I just find it best to stick with my own. Saw a mod over there give a warning saying any use of the words Crysby etc. over there would result in a ban. wtf ever.

As bad as it sounds, I would send Rinaldo right after Crosby in the first few minutes of game 4. If Crosby is gonna call what happened tonight "playoff hockey" lets see how "playoff hockey" it is when he is taking the haymakers to the back of the head.

That was one despicable display by the Penguins tonight and the league better take actions.

That was a meaningless regular season game. And it was calculated and done for a reason. Different setting now, and more at stake.

That's the likely outcome of sending Rinaldo or Shelley after Neal. Got to bide your time, but at the same time, make it clear that any kind of shenanigans, and Crosby is the target of your fury

True Lavy lost it a little but he reeled it in for when it matters most. Look its Flyers 3 games penguins 0. Lavy knows what he is doing, can't say the same for the other guy.

Well, the other 3 series are 1-1, anything is possible.

After today, anything like that is going to result in the officials sending a clear and forceful message to the offending team. Any suggestion that the Flyers send Rinaldo or Shelley after Neal is just plain stupid.
