Exactly, they are up 3-0. They will see Neal 6 times next season. Take care of it then. Why risk losing one of our payers to a suspension running around trying to enact some payback?

The best payback for now is sweeping these whiner odds on favorites to win the Cup out in the first round.

You do realize we have another game to play right?
You do realize we dodged a bullet today by not having Couts & Giroux get concussed?
Have you noticed that the WWE bullshi& has gotten "ramped up" each game?
Would you like to beat them at the risk of having them continue to take liberties out on some of our better players?
I don't give a fuc& about Neal next year, really, he looked like he couldn't give a damn about rules, or anything out there today, except for hurting someone.
No way he should be given a chance to continue any of what he started.

I had a goal and two helpers tonight and all I can think about is the one I messed up.
Is that normal?

- nails

yes. it means you always want to be better than you were.

i got a shutout yesterday, my first all year, in our first game of the playoffs. 2 pucks squeaked through me from bad angles and wrap arounds, but didn't go in, and i've been thinking about those today as well.

So I was just told on the Penguins thread that I'm not allowed to talk about anything prior to 2004 after I had a very civil conversation with another poster about the history of the franchise. Wow.

I don't want that. Then you potentially risk suspension for the next series.

I don't see how this figures into what MB was saying. MB was absolutely correct in what he said.

Primary goal has to be winning the game and series. Send a message in no uncertain terms that if Neal even looks cross eyed at Giroux or Couts again, that Crosby will be spending Wednesday night at Jefferson hospital.

Pay him back in September, when you're not going to need a guy to help you kick the poop out of Boston or the Devils next week

This team has done there job ...get under Crosby's skin and he will be completely off his game...a major weakness of his has clearly shown...when frustrated he isn't mature enough to see through it and battle his team back like the great captains in this game do.
- keatondixon

See, he used to be like that as a rookie, but in the past few years, whenever people got under his skin he lit it up.

Not sure how he degenerated so fast back into the chirpy immaturity.

so the flyers went down 3-0 in the firs game, 2-0 in the second game, 1-0 in the third game....so lets hope the trend continues and they go up 0-1 to start the fourth game!

I think they pay Neal back by hitting him every chance they get but doing it within the rules of the game. If he decides he wants to throw down then we tango if we dont risk a suspension.

He's clearly frustrated. He has made strides since his rookie year, in terms of maturity...today was a big regression.

Problem is he doesn't just look cross eyed at anyone, we dodged a bullet that Couts wasn't seriously hurt, does anyone really care about losing a 4 minute a game player who could handle this situation?
Yes goal is to win, but would anyone like to see someone important out of the next series at the cost of staying passive?

Blah blah blah. Keeping our roster in tact and avoiding anything stupid that gets someone suspended is much more important than your troglodyte sense of justice. Plenty of time to get Neal when it matters. You don't give a (frank) about Neal? Well apparently you do, enough that you would rather see the Flyers risk losing a player of their own instead of looking at the big picture, which is winning this series as quickly as possible and having a full lineup ready to go against their second round opponent.

Neal can wait.

yes, and i've been doing that too. there was one sequence in the 2nd period when the game was still scoreless and i made two really good stops and covered the rebound. the guy on their team waits for me to get up and says, "why did you have to do that?"
i've been chuckling about that all day.

Extreme frustration is all I can figure. The Pens are really lacking leadership right now. From the Coach on down. They really lost it today.

Yes. What I'm saying is, if he hits another Flyer high, dirty and away from the puck, somebody runs Crosby. I'm not saying to do anything illegal until something illegal is done first.

Basically you say, Neal, you;re going to get yours. But if you decide to run up your tab, then Crosby is going to be your co-signer...and payment is due now.
