They will turn the Nash/Det game off in Pitt and Philly area.
- Flyers2821

I'm thinking they'll move the end of Nash/Det to CNBC or NBCSports in the Pitts/Phila markets.

I don't know how he can suspend anyone after a turnbuckle headslam was only given a fine.
- JoeRussomanno

I thought Shanahan was a big improvement for the NHL through the beginning of the season, but he's really botched the postseason, eye em oh. +1 for you.

It is when advertising portrays beauty as sizes -4 to 2

If Shanahan doesn't have stones to suspend superstarts, Giroux should do the exact same thing to Crosby today. How could Shanahan suspend him, if the precedent has already been established that slamming a players head to the glass isn't punishable by a suspension?

I was hoping the NHL would improve from the type of garbage we saw with Colin Campbell, but it's more of the same horsepoop.

Someone told me models have to be that size because the camera adds weight. Maybe it's time to make a better camera.

Actually I would rather Giroux avoid that kinda stuff, we don't need him on the receiving end either. Like the way both teams haven't gone out of their way to hurt anyone in this series so far. Hopefully the strained level of respect they seem to have sustains.

I agree with you Joe. I was just bringing forth an example on how there is no consistency with Shanahan's rulings.

I didn't see/hear his explanation on why it was okay to slam his head into the glass. You know this better than anyone that "Superstars" are treated differently.

I agree. Personally, i think it's sad/disgusting how skinny most models are. I don't find it attractive and it puts unnecessary pressure on teenage girls to look like that. I like curves.... the only curves you find on a model are made of silicone

Zetterberg wasn't injured by it so it didnt warrant a suspension.

I understand that superstars get the benefit of the doubt, clearly what Weber did should have resulted in a suspension. If Shanahan is going to allow this to occur without any discipline, he's setting himself up to have every one of his decisions scrutinized.

runway models are tall and thin becaue it drapes and shows the clothes well. weak minded people will allow themselves to affected by all kinds of things when it comes to appearance. women used to crush their organs in whalebone corsets, too.

No complaints from me there. I am sure my wife would appreciate an afternoon where I am not yelling at the tv.
She doesn't get my enthusiasm when the goings good or the expletive laced rantings when things are poopty.

I guess he is cutting more slack during the playoffs? Maybe Weber didnt get a full smash of the head to hit the glass? I have no answer but he should of received atleast one game imo.

Im still under the belief that if you do something mind blowing dirty you should be out as long as the other player is injured. The Canucks season is in the crapper because of that dirty hit on Sedin. And all Keith got was 5 meaningless regular season games. Total joke
