In the early 1980s, he was in the WWF as a young JTS (jobber to the stars; AKA guy who "puts up a good fight but loses"). He was a babyface (good guy).

In the mid-1980s, he became a headliner in the dying AWA -- won their version of the world championship -- and became a heel (bad guy).

He returned to the WWF in around 1990 as the Mr. Perfect character and was a semi-headliner for several years.

Best part is when he would stand in the ring look at the fans and then swat his gum at them.

I'm guessing the Fonz' burger and malt at Arnold's didn't go down so smoothly last night.

Wow. Carkner has a supplemental discipline hearing this morning because Brian Boyle stood there like half a puss, and got his face bashed in.

Shanahan is embarrassing himself.

Question.... If the Nashville/Detroit game goes into OT today, what channel will the beginning of the Flyers game be televised on?

lots of shenanigans last night.
- hammarby31

Yeah, there were from what I can see.. Hagman should get a game for his elbow to Alfie, and Carkner should get a couple although it was nice to see him pummel Boyle and Dubinsky get thrown out. I hope this series goes seven and Ott wins.

You will most likely get the end of the detroit game and have to wait. That would be my guess

It's my guess too. So I'm anticipating 3 overtimes in Detroit.

Sounds like a different strategy dont know if the Flyers are willing to do that.

How long before Lavi calls a timeout today?

I love the fact that the Rangers got beat yesterday. I'm hoping Ottawa beats the snot out of them.
- stveshdy

Of course you do because the Flyers surely can't. Now please bet the snot out of the Fems.

Maybe not in the regular season but the playoffs is to be determined.

You want the Flyers to beat the Pens bc they own you guys.

I can't imagine being 6'7" 240 pounds like Brian Boyle and getting my face punched in and not fighting back. Pretty gutless display from Mr. Boyle last night.

Bill, what happens for those of us that are not in the Philly area and Detroit/Nashville go to OT? Are we SOL?

that should work out perfectly for you anyway. by that time, the flyers will have come back from at least 3 deficits and will be winning the game.

Same reason you want the Rangers to lose to the Senators, eh?

I actually want the Rangers and Bruins en route to the Cup Final. I want to have beaten the best, so no one (opposing fans, media "experts," fake-fans-in-Flyers-clothing, or anyone else) can criticize a Stanley Cup win as a "fluke."
