Unclassy because he played with him? Ok, that's it, its official! WOMEN HAVE TAKEN OVER HOCKEY!
- Leafland

Oh great, the Maple Leafs fan coming to talk to us about "real hockey". The irony is delicious.

Losing Letang is huge also. He helps them with offense and on the PP. Dont underestimate what he means to that team. They struggled when he was out with a concussion.
- stveshdy

This means Martin and Michalek get more time.

The Flyers win that toss easily.

He also took a facewash from Crosby.

I think that if the refs would actually let Crosby fight, he would not mouth off so much. Right now he knows the refs will never let him fight.

- PT21

crosby doesn't fight. he grabs, and holds on, and sucker punches whenever possible.

That poop asham pulled was ridiculous. His ass should be shelved for 10 games.

in think you were looking for inexplicable, but yeah, mine is too, more so crosby right now than frankenstein.
- hammarby31

btw, if i'm dan bylsma, i might put in brent johnson. your season is on the line, and your #1 goalie can't stop a beach ball right now.

I like that Letang was put out. It hurts the Pens more than Timmo gone hurts the Flyers. Not saying Timmo is not important, but Letang is really a big thing for the Pens esp when alot of the Dmen they have are not playing good

Exactly. He logs a lot of minutes for the Pens also. Now they have nothing but trash on the backend.

That was a pretty classless move what Crosby did with Voracek's glove. But I really think the frustration is boiling over for that team. Another goal for the Flyers and I think it's over.
- MJL

I'm worried about a comeback. But I'm also (frank)ing neurotic. 2nd period can be the nail in the coffin here

it's a joke that he did that. pure bush. best player in the league reducing himself to a female dog. pathetic. the pens are losing their poop, but the flyers have to buckle down and not get caught up in this clown show, taking penalties and maybe injuries in scrums. they need to focus, and win the game.
- hammarby31

The Flyers need to put this first period behind them, as does the Pens. This is exactly what I've been saying for the past 24 hours. They're frustrated and the Pens must leave this game scratching their heads and wondering where they went wrong but it isn't over until it's over.

Letang has been pretty poor defensively though...

it's a definite advantage for the pens. letang for timonen. no discussion.
- hammarby31

I dunno about that in this situation...Pens need goals and he is a bigger offensive presence for them than Kimmo is for us.

I am never one to wish someone to get run over but if Rinaldo took a run at Crosby.... It would make my day.
- Turner21

rinaldo would never have to pay for a thing in philly again.

Agreed but I think he might give him one more period. If it's like this after the second he "might" put Johnson in there to see how the team responds and to get Johnson some ice time before he starts Game 4.

He has but hes still a threat for the Pens. He does it all for them. Now they have to play with a bunch of average dmen.

Maybe he keeps him in, if you pull MAF his confidence might be shot for the rest of the series.

Fleury literally knocked two pucks in his own net in that period. He is in a bad place.
