Giroux now has 44 points in 42 playoff games

All that time rooming with Briere is finally paying off.

Bill tweeted about the last one, but that was a few hours ago. Maybe the Rags? He'll blog about it I'm sure.

I dont know man. Wellwood has played some really nice hockey too. Lets not forget he was on a line with Hall when they won.... He had some really nice plays tonight as well, and only a matter of time before they start going in for him...

I'm not saying he is going to be as good a giroux, but I think he is going to be a suprise star in this league in a few years.

- RooNosHockey

Wellwood is showing signs that he can be a role player in the NHL. But a star? That is a real stretch.

3 other times since 1990:

1990 -- LA (Granato and Sandström) vs Flames
1996 -- PITT (Jagr and Lemieux) vs Rangers
2006 -- BUFF (Pominville and Dumont) vs Flyers

Exciting win, but the series isn't over until you win 4.

Pens D is terrible, keep on them.

He's more then an energy player, which some have suggested. He'll more then likely never be a first line player but shifting between the second and third as he develops isn't out of reach. Not every rookie call up can score 5 goals and handle time on the PK.

He's the kind of guy you include in a deal for a defenseman to replace a Carle.

are you kidding me bryzgalovs glove save isnt in the game highlights on nhl.com
- Just5

katheryn tappen on the nhl network replay described the save almost as if it were a routine stop. i couldn't believe it. and neither jaffe, nor bad suit modano said much about it either. it will be the save of the playoffs. and could be prove to be the turning point of the flyers advancing. that show, and the people they hire, icluding ex-nhlers (except for kelly chase) suck hairy moose balls.

How have I missed it! It's so CUTE. But I realized this morning that I can't change with them up 2-0 anyway.
