The only part of their broadcast that is tolerable is when Steve Mears rattles off his 100 amazing stats in the pre-game. Good gravy, that guy spouts every conceivable stat from both team's lifetime record when scoring the first goal to who's likely to score the winning goal based the number of times he spat during the morning skate.

I had my iPhone in the dressing room and saw that the Pens went up one and the Flyers tie it.

Then it was game time and I didn't think it would look good to bring my phone to the bench.

I had the opposing goalie looking up into the second level sports bar to try to read the score from one of the TV screens.

After our first period I learned that they had won and I leaped for joy and danced around like the guy at the end of Slapshot!

Second game in a row I had to listen to Mike Lange describe a first period Crosby goal while on the way home from work. Nearly drove into a power pole.

Siiiiiiiiiidneeeeeeeey Crosbeeeeeeee. OMG. Shave me with a rusty razor and slap me silly Sidney.

So much better once I get home and turn on TSN.

I was in the car on my way to Charleston, SC when the game started. The XM feed was the Lange. Instead of using that I opened up the free NHL Gamecenter app on my phone and used it to listen to the Flyers radio feed. Only thing that kept me from a vehicular manslaughter rampage on I-26.

What a freakin' game though. So much to like about this team. Still having a hard time believing what I just watched with my own eyes.

If Daniel doesn't come back, which is doubtful, then they're cooked. Edler's confidence is broke. Mason Raymond is useless. Look for Schneider to start game 3 in an attempt to jump start the team.

The Canucks are a mess. They have bigger issues than just missing Daniel (although that is a big loss). They are getting their hats handed to them and don't appear willing to even put up a fight.

Yup. Defence is totally discombobulated right now. It has little to do with Luongo's play, but Scheneider has to start game 3.

The stars are aligned for...the Rangers? The only sort of teams they seem to have trouble against are the high skill teams with east-west games. On the top 3 in that category I would place Pens, Van, Det. And those 3 teams have 1 combined win in 6 tries.

He has way better hands than Richards. I never thought Richards was a great offensive talent, just got hard working goals. But Schenn looks like he can become more than what Richards was at the end of his tenure with the Flyers. Just needs to work on his fighting.

Flyers West lead series 2-0 Flyers East lead series 2-0. Hmmm
