Staal's had a great view on a couple of goals already this series - Voracek's OT winner in game 1 and Giroux's first tonight.

Bob McK giving the Flyers some love

- Jsaquella

When you look at a guy like Giroux - like I said, taken 22nd overall in the draft - and when you look at a guy like Couturier who went eighth overall, you should also credit Paul Holmgren for having the jam to be able to pull the trigger on the Carter deal and the Richards deal (who by the way, have played well obviously for the L.A. Kings).

I'm still light headed.
- rockychocbill

I been battling a migraine all day This game is like a shot of novacaine to the brain though. Told my wife I'm not getting mad if they lose, right from the start. 15 seconds in they go down. Just sat there cool as a cucumber. The third goal yea I was like wtf. Through the rest of the game though especially after watching that fantastic save by Bryz on Letang, I just dug in and watched. Think I played my karma cards right tonight!

i believe if the flyers didn't melt down in game 6, they would have won in game 7 at the igloo. such a shame.

how true is this?
It's incredible character by the Philadelphia Flyers, there's no question about that, but it's also incredible talent - precocious young talent.

Rinaldo
- eayost

I think Rinaldo hasn't shown much so far in this series but as these games go on he's gonna start having an impact. Especially after that hit on Malkin. Malkin didn't like that at all. This series is far from over and the Flyers can't take their foot off the gas, keep Rinaldo out there.

JVR is part of the team. I don't know how what I said is advocating for that. I still don't understand how the kid was on pace for 30+ goals then gets hammered by injuries guys want to rip him.

I dont know man. Wellwood has played some really nice hockey too. Lets not forget he was on a line with Hall when they won.... He had some really nice plays tonight as well, and only a matter of time before they start going in for him...

I'm not saying he is going to be as good a giroux, but I think he is going to be a suprise star in this league in a few years.
