i don't think you can throw harry z in at this stage.

You've won 2 games. Why mess with things until Pitt makes it a series? Go for the jugular on Sunday.

Yea, made incredible stops tonight. Glove save against Letang was dirty good. These guys dont quit and the Flyers are playing hard nosed hockey. I think if they can beat the Pens, I think they can take on any team in the East.
- bigmookalookie

That glove save was a game stealer. It's the kinda stuff we've been waiting for. Just get past this round and I'm sure the goals against go down. Can't think of any team besides the Flyers and Pens, maybe Vancouver that packs the firepower these two teams do.

the fifth goal was soft. i'm sure he'd want that back, but i think that's the only one of the series so far. i really don't blame him for the flukey 3rd goal in game 1. took a series of bounces around the net, and the whole non-icing thing there.
- hammarby31

Why was it soft? Wasn;t that the one deflected off Simmonds?

I guess if he was out more than he cuts the angle down on that thing even though it was a knuckleball of a deflection.

YEa it ain't like the Pens came back to win after multi goal deficits in those games either. At least I don't remember that being the case.
- JoeRussomanno

That series changed after Rick Tocchet beat up Tyler Wright. Oh yeah, and that Any Delmore guy scored a HUGE goal in Game 3 to change the series. In addition, I was at the 5 OT game in 2000, when the spawn of Satan (to Pittsburghers at least), Keith Primeau, put one in over Tugnutt's shoulder.

I just have to put up the replay of the Game 6 5-3 comeback victory in 2009 ECQF to help recover from this.

With the Flyers getting the match ups they want in the next two games. I can't see how it's going to be much easier for the Penguins

edit also
I wonder if anyone has the Win/Lose record for a team winning the first two games away in a series.

I'm wondering if the Pens are gonna actually try to not score in the First period and see how that works
