it's hard to fathom how the games keep unfolding the same way. the pens just come out with their balls on fire but just can't sustain it. the flyers have a lot of talent on their roster, too. - hammarby31
I've never seen anything like it. It's unfathomable. The Pens come out hard, and the Flyers are just standing around watching. Then in the last 2 periods they take over the game.

It's always great when a game is wildly entertaining. Especially when your team wins. The most positive sign. When the Flyers got the lead, they were able to shut Pittsburgh down. The Pens haven't show any sign of being able to do the same to the Flyers. - MJL
fortunately for them, they only had to lock it down for about 10 minutes.
I don't know if there's much they can do. The Pens even though they are down 2-0 in this series are firing on all cylinders and they are an offensive juggernaut. - JoeRussomanno
Possibly Joe. Maybe this is just a style the coaching staff believes will work against Pittsburgh, and through 2 games, you can't quibble with the results.

the pens kept getting the lead, and my gut at the end of the 3rd was that the pens would find a way to win. certainly when they scored 1 minute into the period. when cooter tied it at 5, i changed my mind.
but the script is crazy. what a fun game to watch. even if the flyers had lost tonight, i wouldn't have been that pissed, which is saying something for me.

Yeah, it's frustrating to watch for us. I know the series isn't over, but it ain't lookin' good.

Ali vs Foreman rope a dope it's the only thing I can think of right now that happened in reality.
The save on Letang is the game changer. The Pens score there they would of been up 3-0 and the Flyers would of needed another miracle to come back again from three down. That save was unreal and changed the game.
