Well the guy came in to talk of all things hockey. I found it refreshing.

So who gets the nod if MAB cant play Kubina or Gus?

I would think Lavi goes with the vet in Kubina.

As long as Kubina is feeling well, because his last few games he wasn't very good.

Yea I'm pretty sure of it. And Gus hasn't been called up right? Gus was looking pretty rough there at the end of the season. Give me the banged up veteran.

They're just 2 different players. It's a team sport. They're already on 2 different lines. I could careless if they play separately or apart.

They're already on 2 different lines ES. Bylsma was playing them on the same PP unit at times. It meant Malkin was double shifting, and messing up some of the rhythm of the coaches line changes.

I'm still surprised that Lavy didn't get Kubina on the PP weeks ago. Isn't he suppose to have a wicked slap shot from the point?

If I was Byslma, I would play Malkin line against the Giroux line or the Briere line. Thats two smallish centers against a shifty hulk.

Welp looks like Thomas is back in playoff form. Can't look ahead but man, the road isn't paved with jelly beans, that's for sure

The Caps look terrible. They were dominated all night. Holtby is the only reason that game was even close.

I think that's what he will do. Which may work for awhile until Lavy makes adjustments. The Pens are deep but so are the Flyers. And Max will have a big game.

The Caps are a mess.

That team needs to take a trip to Oz to visit the Wizard and ask him for a heart.

7 shots through 2 periods, they have to be better then that.

I know it wasn't alot of shots but some of the saves one kick save in particular was really big. Also the caps did have a puck trickle just ever so wide of the net somewhere in the second period of a redirect. ITs not about the quantity of shots but the quality.
