Don't know if you saw it, but I posted a video last night of Fraser's explanation on the non-call (Sericolo actually waved the play clean) on TSN TV. - tangent_man
No I didn't see that. I read all of Fraser's articles. It's very informative. |

MAB injured - Deasr1
What I found interesting about last night was MAB played 11 minutes before he left with his injury. Two Pens d-men both played less then 10 minutes. The Flyers are going to wear down the Pens D if Bylsma continues this ice distribution. I respect Letang a lot on their blueline, but I believe the Flyers have the overall advantage on defense. When they won the cup, Gill and Scuderi were huge in the playoffs. I don't think they have those type of d-men on their current roster.

I'm not really sure why MAB is even playing. I like him, but Kubina is what we need. However, Bill pointed out earlier that he may not be 100% and is sloooooooooowwwww |

Your right. Not sure what Niskanen's status is for next game. But if he is healthy he will relieve some pressure now doubt. But the Flyers can also get work done on him on the forecheck. |

I think MAB got the nod just for the reason you stated. The Pens are more of creating opportunites off the rush as opposed to the cycle game along the boards. If Kubina is injured causing his mobility to be limited, I can see Lava's rational.

Agree, I think Niskanen will help with some time distribution, but I view him like Paul Martin. Get the puck in deep with the forwards and just grind on them.

Hi pen fan. Tough game for you, but I expect pitt to come out even more pissed and more relentless than last night. They still worry me a lot. |

Some pressure on the Rangers tonight eh? They need to get this first round series done. Good matchup for the Sens - Just5
Some big hits in the second half of the period. I don't know what the first half was like but it looks like Karlsson is going to be a sore dude by the end of this series. |
