And Briere's first goal was way offsides. So we'll call it even. But your right Joe, the game is at least 60 minutes. Not 20.
- MJL

the pens were even more offside on their first rush up the ice. they just didn't score.

was it really?

It depends how you measure it. His entire body was over the line, only his left skate was touching it. So yes by measuring in space. But, he was already moving, so thats a split second decision. So, not so much by time.

seriously? the flyers are the only option.
- hammarby31

yeah the only catch is i got them for raising over $500 for CF walk i am doing for my little cousin who is also going with my aunt and uncle, so i'd feel like a real crosby for ditching. although maybe i can convince them to join since she loves simmonds now cuz he visited her in the hospital

Bryz was awesome. Not sure what game your watching
- Just5

Bryz was very good, you shouldn't take my comment as critical, certainly you would expect the Pens to give a serious push in the first period of game 2, hence Bryz will need to be on top of his game.

You may want to put a "For Sale" sign on the Briere buyout bandwagon, or do you like being on there yourself?

Oh, you can if you want to go with the officiating, of course. But that's the easy way out.

This team has made a season of overcoming bad starts, and yet people feel the need to go all Chicken Little at the first misplayed puck.

- tangent_man

No doubt, Flyers have a habit of getting down goals. I hope they stop.

That doesn't have anything to do with the terribly weak calls.

'offsides' is the French Canadian spelling. The trailing 's' is silent.

Way offsides? Maybe a stride? I need a snapshot to see just how bad it is. I'm convinced that about a quarter of the entries into the offensive zone are offside to one degree or another.

And it's karma to make up for the icing that wasn't icing that lead to a bad goal.

Dude please. You must know by now that only Bryz gives up softies. With other goalies, those are just bad bounces, or bad luck. Do I have to explain everything to you?

No way. You're way off on that.

EDIT: Apparently not. My bad.
