Unless its not an injury that will get worse. Maybe he's trying to play through it? From what I saw, it wasn't working too well.

Who knows. Oh well.

Has to be injured. But if he was injured significantly enough for him not to be able to play, he most likely wouldn't be practicing.
- PLindbergh31

Shhhh, don't tell people that. everybody thinks we had the 1st overall pick 6 years in a row. That's the only reason the Pens are good!!

Advanced statistics show us that the team with the best training staff is likely to win.

I remember last year everyone was all like, "Versteeg sucks!" Then we find out he had a sports hernia and were all like "Whoops!" That was the difference between winning and losing the Cup.

I can't imagine Kubina not playing, unless he is injured.
- PLindbergh31

I can imagine this but the move I would make is playing 7 D. I like Zac Rinaldo, he's been a pleasant surprise. I can even see him stirring the pot by possibly scoring. However, the fact of the matter is the league hates him. Both teams and refs. He'll only drew brutal calls against us whether they're deserved or not. I think I would go with 7 Dmen tonight. Lilja can't exactly stay healthy and Grossmann is now returning from injury. I think we need to take the more safe bet and make sure we have reliable D men out there.

Which is exactly what made them so great then. I have so much more respect for my dad after watching them at 24 as opposed to 7. My old man had to have watched those movies 100 times.

True. Wow yeah I could just imagine how uninterested the rents had to be while sitting though those time after time.

Its practice. Shelley wont see the ice until next season.
- jak521

Oh he'll see the ice plenty these playoffs. And he'll have a real nice view, too.

Absolutely. And the key points to be discussing are injuries, which nobody including the team can do anything about. Jody Shelley. Players who are no longer here such as Jeff Carter. And of course the refs who are obviously going to screw over the Flyers.

It really depends on if the player is liked. If he's liked, he's given the benefit of the doubt of having an injury. If he's not like and has an injury, well then he just sucks.

I wonder if Jim McCrossin took a look at David Wright's pinkie.

Rinaldo's role has been expanded to playing on a checking line. If he can play under control he can be an effective player.

Crosby 1st, Fleury 1st, Malkin 2nd, Staal 2nd or 3rd and I believe Whitney 5th. That's a huge part of why the Pens are good.

My dodge key to the series is Carle outplaying Letang. Hopefully Carle isn't a -8 in the playoffs this year.

Or, he should have played better because everybody is banged up in the playoffs.

Shelly Anderson from the P-G reports it doesn't appear Matt Niskanen is healthy enough to play. That's a win for you guys as he's been one of our steadiest defenders this year.

Was kinda hoping for a Kings/Flyers 1st round match-up.

That nullifies the Pronger, JVR, and Meszaros injuries.

And Brooks Orpik one of the most gentlemanly defenders.

Define "outplaying Letang". One guy would be getting Norris consideration and the other is a 2nd pair guy. Now I'll hear it from the Carlephiles.

In order for the Flyers to win this series, Jaromir Jagr needs to regrow his mullet. Seriously, the guy didn't win anything after he got rid of it.

This series comes down to which team has more mullets. That is the ultimate decider.
