That discussion was not bailing.
- rockychocbill

It was definitely bailing like they were on the Titanic. Not by all.

Schenn was great, but Couturier was really strong IMO as well. I expect the Flyers to be better next game with the rookies getting that first game out of the way
- eayost

Will still admit I was wrong thinking Couturier should have been sent back. Not only did they handle him extremely well he's exceeded my expectations big time.

After the way this team played this year, never quitting, and always coming back, there's zero need to get down after a bad first period.

Sure, I was frustrated. But these guys don't stop coming. They really are like Jason or Freddy Krueger.

- Jsaquella

it is remarkable. and danny does it again. i admit i was doubting his ability to show up at this point of the year, back in february. he's proving me wrong, and i'm happy to be wrong.

This was just a great win. There is no way the Pens will feel comfortable no matter what the score is. They know deep down they just can't stop the Flyers.

i was worried it would be the winner.

It made a disappointing but manageable start into a disaster.

Boy, the O's have some weak bats.

Some were frustrated. But some were bailing after one period. They don't have enough grit. Seriously. This team has tons of grit!

I knew I knew the hook this song samples. Watching Mullholland Drive a few weeks back and it's the song the girl is singing at the audition

Very nice that he picked up where he left off before the "contusion".

That Danny B cap hit looks like a bargain. I thought Lilja was outstanding, really was out there a lot against Crosby and held his own.

What a great victory. OT hockey in game 1, man this is going to be a long torturous playoff run, but I love the way this team competes.

our worker bees are better than theirs

if we protect the puck and simplify things in the neutral zone, wow is possible

Do me a favor and put together a youtube montage of the Flyers beating the Pens in OT. Start it off with Voracek's goal tonight and end it with Primeau's goal. Regular season games included.

Remember how Carter and Richie were absolutely invisible in the series against Buffalo. I don't mean just on the scoreboard, I mean on the ice as well.

I think we have some real players in 10 and 14.

I love them and I hate them and I love them. They're like the guy who's always late for a date but brings palliative gifts.

they need to spend more time at the other end of the ice. too many easy outs and nothing happening.

Absolutely. The Flyers own the Pens down low. Clean up some things, and for heavens sakes don't get behind early, and they can win the Series

I was expecting him to. It's a tough spot for the kid.
