wonder how it's going over in the pens board.

That was a huge (frank)ing win. The Pens will be looking over their shoulder whenever they get a lead. Totally has to mess with their heads.

OK. They need to forget it, and move on to game 2. Start fast please fellas. This was a gift.

i think the general consensus was frustration for seeing them get steamrolled the whole period, allowing a soft goal in the final minute and trailing by 3, not that the game or series was over.
- hammarby31

Some were frustrated. But some were bailing after one period. They don't have enough grit. Seriously. This team has tons of grit!

Ya know, it drives me nuts. All I read after the first period was they don't have enough grit, this guy sucks. They shouldn't get this matchup. All nonsense! They don't have enough grit? Are you kidding me?

This team does not quit. The don't give up. They keep playing and coming no matter what. They believe in themselves. It would be nice if some of the fans would join them in that. Thank God this team doesn't have the thought process of some of the fans.

I love this team. Amazing. Breathtaking. Not only did we get game 1 we are in their heads now!!

Come on, its hardly the way the coach drew it. For some reason they keep doing this to the Pens. Try it against the Rangers.

Schenn was great, but Couturier was really strong IMO as well. I expect the Flyers to be better next game with the rookies getting that first game out of the way

Brayden Schenn! I might stop hating him now for stealing LeClair's number. 3 points in his first playoff game.

Essentially giving away that 3rd goal really stuck in my craw.

After the way this team played this year, never quitting, and always coming back, there's zero need to get down after a bad first period.

Sure, I was frustrated. But these guys don't stop coming. They really are like Jason or Freddy Krueger.

The game is 60 minutes long, and sometimes longer. It is never over after 20 minutes. I'm sure that was part of the message the Coach gave to the team after the first period.

If....and this is a HUGE if....the Flyers eventually tie this game up, they'll win the series.

Doesn't mean they won't win the series if they don't win tonight, but I'm confident in saying if they somehow pull this out, they'll be so far in the Pens' heads it'll be ridiculous. And the Flyers' confidence will be sky high.

Hey...I can dream.

This may be because I'm listening to The Gunner's Dream by Pink Floyd. It's the mindset right now

Win the period. Just the period. Get one in the first 10 and all of a sudden this game has a slightly different complexion.

Come on fellas. The butterflies are gone.

Go Flyers!!!
