My feed from NBC sports didn't work until 15 minutes into first. Which I guess is fine. The boys need to bring it in the thrid, get a quick goal. If they can pull this game back and win that will crush the Pens. They will never feel comfortable no matter the lead.

yep. and jagr had that breakaway chance at 2-0. not sure who he was out there with. they need to get the puck upstairs. they to know that. fleury has great pads and lateral quickness. the jagr chance, hartnell chance, and jake chance were all on the ice. briere buries it under the bar.

Next goal is enormous. At least make the Pens play with some pressure. I don't think their D core is that good. Flyers can generate chances against them at will if they play their A game.

Bizzare need for a Flyers team but I can agree with this
- aosplayo

They arent that far off either imo, but they do not have guys who bring a consistent physical game.

Let me rephrase that, they do not have enough of those players.

I'd have Jagr walk and they need a physical guy for that for the fourth line that isnt going to take dumb penalties every game.

Milbury and Jones not impressed with the Refs either. Giroux's penalty, I can see that getting called because it looked bad in one fast motion but it wasn't vicious by any stretch. Rinado's was brutal. It was another Penguin dive on a second shove. I believe it was Jordan Staal who just dropped and he's 5 feet taller then Rinaldo.

He played well that period. Great to see.

They are starting to play better but they need to get on the body. Its been a huge issue all game. They are being outshot and outplayed this game. If they manage a steal it will be huge.

Thats a huge if. You can see when the penguins turn it on the Flyers just cant match.

Schenn looking great along with Voracek.

Flyers are outhitting the Pens after 2 periods.

I actually don't mind them that much. But like when you first start drinking beer or coffee it takes a bit to get used to.

Milbury just called out te officials again saying the calls on Giroux and Rinaldo were weak. I'd like to see ho go a step further and point out some of the late hits by pens that should have been called if you're going to make those calls on G and 36. All about consistency. I expect things to even out a bit over the course of the series, but it would have been nice to see Milbury take it a step further...but then I might actually start to respect the guy.

Bryz has to shut it down now. No more goals.

I'd throw Voracek on the top line with Giroux.

The Flyers are in no way beating the pens in terms of physicality.

Its not even close.

maybe not, but they seem to be getting the puck out with relative ease. flyers need to be quicker to the puck and get better support.

It was Neal and Rinaldo took 3 shots at him. He got greedy and got called. It was deserved imo.
