My initial reaction is you can't pass up the chance to draft him. Can any of Yakupov, Hemsky or Eberle play left wing? - bazmagoo
Not sure, wouldn't want to move Eberle. Hemsky might want to learn fast if he wants to stay here... this is nuts |

This could spell the end of the the Blue Jackets franchise. On the bright side they'll finish last place again next year. It worked out great for them this year. - hankthetank
Nah, we'll probably finish 25th and end up winning the lottery. |

U do not pass on a Pavel bure comparative in potential... Trade others if needed or just let them all gel... Either way here come some UFAs.... That lineup to come to the oil just went up exponentially! - saskoil21
Remember, the Oil still play in Edmonton. |

Pretty far reach to go from moving one slot down in the draft, to resulting in the doom of the franchise. Don't get me wrong, it blows big time, but isn't unrecoverable. - CBJ18
Hope you guys pick Murray, after Yakupov....best player at the draft. |

Why wasn't there a camera on Howson's face? I would have loved to see the look on him as his heart shattered. - DTF69
The Hockey gods were punishing the CBJ for sticking with that tool. |

Doesnt matter this might force Howson to take Galchenyuk or Murray. |

I would be more than happy with Murray.
Use Nash to bring in a couple young forwards, and maybe trading our 2nd first rounder for a goalie. That should hopefully at least slow down this runaway train. |

Yakupov will look great beside next year's 1st, Mackinnon. Congrats. |

Yes, I'm under the belief that one of the reasons Galchenyuk got as many points as he did was because of Yakupov. I'm thinking a 2nd line of Paajarvi-Gagner-Yakupov for next season. If that can't kick start Paajarvi I don't know what will. |

This is an embarrassment to the league. The drafting system better be changed in the new CBA. |

Maybe Eberle could make the #2 line a #1 B line. |

A little on the small side. Hall isn't small but he sure isn't a space maker. He can back D off on the rush though.
Probably not enough puck to go around which can be a surprising downside to having too much talent. |

I agree but with the skill we have now we could give Yakupov 2nd line time instead of forcing him onto the 1st line. Way too early to start making Pittsburgh comparisons but we're starting to get the ability to put elite talent on multiple lines making us much harder to play against. |

In other news, the lottery director said that Tambellini was very "servicing" and was pretty good at it. |
