I mentioned it a few weeks back. I wouldn't mind the lack of scoring for 3/4 of the season if he is able to score a few timely goals in the playoffs by Kennedy. Contribution from the 3rd and 4th lines are crucial for any team in the playoffs.

If by some chance you are flying Airtran, they have XM Radio on their planes. You will be able to listen to the game through that. I was flying back to Pittsburgh from Texas once and got to listen to the entire Pens game on the plane. thank God.

I have since lost the column, but there was one where Bob MacKenzie described how the lottery went down... A representative from each team and an accounting firm watched the actual lottery. Craig Patrick knew they won all during the TV portion of the drawing. I always posted that link on message boards when the subject came up, and it was mostly just ignored lol.

I love how people say it was rigged, but ignore the fact that all 29 other teams would have to have gone along with it for it to stay secret this whole time.

sucks that you're traveling today--and on short notice. I'm almost lost (2 weeks of no travel). I set up my next flight though so I will be checked in at the hotel by the time Game 5 starts.

It will be interesting to see if the Flyers' rookies feel some of the pressure of playing in the post-season. That's not to knock them and say they aren't good, but how often do we see young players wilt (regardless of talent level) when the lights are brighter? If Couterier struggles over the course of the series to contain Malkin's line, the matchups definitely favor the Pens. He's been good in the regular season, but it's easier to contain Malkin on a random Tuesday in February than it might be over the course of a series in Arpil

Gonna change the subject from the game to the draft real quick. So, where is all the outrage that the Oilers have had the #1 pick for 3 straight years? I mean, the Pens had it once with a few other high picks and it was as if they cheated and there was a conspiracy going on.

Their timing has been great... And I think you can take the "supposed" out of your Lemieux sentence lol... They outright tanked that season as it was getting closer to the end. The funny thing is, the Pens get slammed for it, but New Jersey only ended up with one more win than the Pens. So, they tanked, just not as effectively.

Crosby lottery was weighted based on previous results, the irritating part is the claims of a decade of losing/tanking on purpose. Completely untrue. Every franchise goes through a rough patch.

But the Mario one......yeah, no defense on that one. They went down worse than a bad pro wrestler.
