Be awesome to see some fans behind Bryz, dressed up like bears tonight.

Or have everybody dress as Hogan and mock Hartnell.

Also, found this funny. Went to yahoo homepage, and the number 1 trending topic is Scott Hall arrested. At first glance, i thought it said Scott Hartnell arrested.

Ok, was listening to the Fan on my way into work this morning, and they were asking who would be a player who steps up and has a big series for the Pens, outside the normal stars.

My pick, Aaron Asham. Asham always seems to always score big goals in the playoffs, between his time with the Flyers and last year with the Pens.

Any thoughts from either side on this???

- cap1681

Asham is an easy pick, and could be correct.

I am expecting a couple humongous goals from Matt Cooke this series.

My brother told me about this (due to the fact we have the phili x here sadly). That guy has something loose upstairs I think. He has had some off the wall quotes over the past year.

Gonna change the subject from the game to the draft real quick. So, where is all the outrage that the Oilers have had the #1 pick for 3 straight years? I mean, the Pens had it once with a few other high picks and it was as if they cheated and there was a conspiracy going on.

I dogged on him earlier in the season but think TK will be stepping up his game as he has in the past 15 games or so.

And the Pens only had one first overall pick from the lottery... They traded from 3rd to get Fleury.

TK would be a welcome presence. A goal or two by him can change a series.

Hopefully the lines settle a bit everyone can find a rhythm

Are you traveling tomorrow? Hopefully you're on a plane with Wi-Fi service so you can at least attempt to listen to the game

Man.... I hate how the national, and especially the local media is crowning the Pens as champs right now. Kind of has that Vancouver feel from last season.

Shh, don't tell people that. Accroding to all the trolls, we had the first overall pick for 6 straight years.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying... he's the only first overall pick that we were awarded in the lottery.

safe travels (if you do get stuck with the short straw)

What are the couple of things that you want to see happen tonight?

On my wish list-
1) Blow out Bryz... get the Philly media turning on him as fast as they seem to want to.
2) A huge early hit to set the tone... Think Kunitz on Timonen, or Orpik on Stamkos.

Yep, now, don't get me wrong, we had some bad teams and deserved to be up there with the picks. But still, we traded to get Fleury at 1, we lucked out in the lottery to get Crosby at 1, Malkin was a 2 and Staal was a 2. I hate that we had those high picks, but to quote Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, "we chose wisely".

And since there wasn't some bald guy flipping over cards with team logos on tv yet it was rigged.
