Ayup. Floss, kids. Floss.

*do as I say, not as I did until recently*

I have to get my wisdom teeth extracted soon. Not looking forward to that.

What got me flossing regularly was learning that flossing improves heart health. (Those bacteria you are getting rid of can cause cardiac problems! Who knew?)

Me too. I was a once a day brusher and once a month flosser. Four recent visits for cavity fillings has changed that.

An ounce of prevention is worth a stitch in time.

Or was it two in the bush? This saying might not be PG.

I figured dental insurance was available in all parts of the US.... So your telling me there are no dentists in Kentucky? Even small town guys... I dont live in a city, and I cant spit without hitting a dental office...

When you need to buy food for your family on bare subsistence wages there isn't a lot of extra dough for basics like dentistry and it's not covered by Medicaid.

I heard it best as, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't that damn bird out of the bush."

Very expensive.

I've never had to pay for anything dental related. I pay 7.00 per paycheck for dental insurance... I get my teeth cleaned once a year. I've had 2 cavities, and had 2 wisdom teeth removed... thats the extent of my dental work... I just find it curious that you cant get proper dental care in rural areas... I never heard of that.

I brush and floss, like a good boy, but if I couldn't afford dental work I'd be missing a few teeth. After insurance it still cost me $800 for my last cap.

The thing that makes me laugh about these so called theories is this...

Would the NHL benefit more from the Penguins, who just won 3 years ago and sell out every game, winning then say, Oh I don't know, the Maple Leafs? Or maybe the LA Kings? If the NHL had a rooting interest today, it wouldn't be Pittsburgh, that's all I'm saying.

It's just sooooo stupid.

Stop throwing a wrench into the conspiracy theories and injecting common sense. That is underhanded.

Depends. If the Flyers dont have any more injuries they could have faced the Pens with JVR and Meszaros in the line-up.... It could have made us the Favorites..

Hartnell-Giroux-Jagr
JVR-Briere-Voracek
Read-Schenn-Simmonds
Talbot-Couturier-Wellwood

Timonen-Kubina
Carle-Meszaros
Grossmann-Coburn

- RooNosHockey

Adding JVR and Meszaros still wouldn't have made the Flyers the favorite.

If the Flyers win the cup they will most likely have to earn it.. beating the pen, bruins, and rags... then detroit.

Is there any other way of winning the Cup? Is there such a thing as not earning it?

Lexington Flyer said, "...poopty economic conditions out there leads to poor healthcare in those Appalachian communities". I thought he was saying they were too poor to afford dental care not that there aren't any dentists in rural areas.

...I have no explanation for the British
